The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is currently seeking a Principal Bridge Engineer in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to supervise, direct, and guide a Bridge Design Squad to produce economic, efficient, and safe transportation structures, including bridges, box culverts, overhead sign structures, retaining walls, and other highway-related structures.</p>
Cheyenne is a steadily growing community along the Front Range, but still true to the Old West's history. Performs on-site inspections to assess structure condition and needed work; determines and selects cost-effective structure types and sizes</li><li>
Affix professional engineering stamp to completed Structure Selection/Rehabilitation Reports</li><li>
Manages and plans assignments within the Design Squad composed of engineers and engineering technicians; responsible for the design and plan preparation of structure projects</li><li>
Estimates the time required for each phase of the design and detailing process</li><li>
Assigns tasks so projects move from designer to drafter to finished project in a smooth and orderly fashion; utilizes the Primavera Project Scheduling Software to assist in this task and to provide a continual update of project status and squad resources</li><li>
Monitors the time and dollars of professional resources required to complete the engineering of a project</li><li>
Attends lectures, seminars, and staff conferences to broaden knowledge and experience; participates and/or supervises the development of draft policies, standards, and specifications, both within the Program and Department-wide</li><li>

The Division of Criminal Investigation, under the Attorney General's Office, seeks qualified applicants for the Forensic Specialist position in the Toxicology Unit. This family of positions includes those responsible for handling the physical evidence of a crime in a laboratory setting for agencies of the State of Wyoming. Under general supervision, these positions are responsible for performing specific forensic examinations supporting ongoing criminal investigations, creating written reports outlining those examinations, and presenting the results in court as necessary.
