<div><div><b>Work-Study &mdash; Library Assistant</b></div>
<div><b>Part-Time, </b>for the following shift:</div>
<div><div><ul><li> 11am-1pm Monday-Friday</li></ul>
</div><div>Student worker schedules can be adjusted around class times. Any schedule changes must accommodate overall staffing needs and be coordinated in advance.</div>
</div>
<div></div><div><b>Job Responsibilities: </b>Library assistants aid as directed by Library Learning Services Specialist and/or Head of Library Learning Services. This position requires communication and computer skills. This position will require contact with the public, students and/or staff. Some lifting of books may be required.</div>
<div></div><div><div>Duties to be performed:</div>
</div><ul><li>Assist library patrons with finding and using resources, including technology</li>
<li>Use the library system to check materials in and out</li>
<li>Correctly shelve library materials</li>
<li>Inventory and shelf read library collection</li>
<li>Process incoming and outgoing interlibrary loans</li>
<li>Property stamp periodicals and archive newspaper articles</li>
<li>Actively participate in documentation and recordkeeping</li>
<li>Communicate in a professional manner</li>
<li>Perform general cleaning and equipment maintenance</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as needed or assigned</li>
</ul><div><b>Hourly Pay Rate:</b> $15.00/hour (part-time, non-benefit eligible)</div>
<div><b>Work Schedule:</b> Maximum of 12 hours per week</div>
