Stateline Animal Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager who brings together operational excellence, a talent for mentorship, and a commitment to team culture. The ideal candidate will have prior veterinary experience and a proven background in leadership, training, and team development&mdash;paired with a business-minded approach to hospital growth.
As our Hospital Manager, you&rsquo;ll work closely with the Medical Director and leadership team, taking ownership of daily operations and guiding our hospital toward continued success.
Key Responsibilities Include:
<ul><li>Financial Leadership: Monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and financial operations, and drive business growth through data-informed decisions.</li>
<li>Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory, and implement hospital policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Strategic Direction: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute long-term goals, expand services, and support referral and business partnerships.</li>
<li>Project &amp; Facility Management: Lead day-to-day operations, scheduling, and maintenance while aligning administrative functions with overall hospital objectives.</li>
<li>Client &amp; Community Engagement: Oversee marketing strategies, resolve client concerns, enhance client experience, and foster retention and growth.</li>
<li>Team Leadership: Manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, maintain appropriate staffing levels, and foster a positive, inclusive team culture. Partner closely with the Medical Director to support high-quality patient care, align on medical standards, and help implement innovative tools and resources that support continuous improvement.</li>

Schedule, benefits and compensation**:
This is a full-time, salaried position and schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.
<ul><li>Compensation: $60,000-67,500 annual base salary*</li>
<li>Quarterly bonus opportunities: Based on hospital performance</li>
<li>Hiring bonus package: Up to $2000 based on experience and credentials</li>

Your Qualifications:
<ul><li>5+ years of business management experience required</li>
<li>Veterinary experience preferred (CVT background strongly valued)</li>
<li>CVPM or equivalent education preferred</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative and servant leadership approach</li>
<li>Resilience and adeptness in handling emotionally charged situations.</li>
<li>Proficiency in budget management.</li>
<li>Experience with team training and supervision.</li>
<li>Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new systems.</li>
<li>Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.</li>
<li>Capacity to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.</li>
