 Role Overview:
 
 
 
 
 The Warehouse Assistant Manager is a hands-on operational leader who supports the day-to-day execution of Steel City Brand&rsquo;s warehouse operations. Ensuring inventory is accurate, orders ship on time and the warehouse stays organized. This person is part leader, part operator, and part problem-solver &mdash; comfortable being on the floor, managing people, and owning details.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Core Responsibilities You Will Own:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Daily Warehouse Execution
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Execute daily fulfillment operations (pick/pack/ship)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure orders ship accurately, on time, and to brand standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor workflow and work proactively with the manager to adjust staffing or priorities
 </li>
 <li>
 Restocking Warehouse for next days orders
 </li>
 <li>
 Processing returns in a timely manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Support execution of elevated packaging standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure inserts, packaging materials, and presentation are correct
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor supplies and flag reorders before shortages occur
 </li>
 <li>
 Help test and implement new packaging or workflow improvements
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Team Support &amp; Leadership
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Help train, onboard, and support warehouse staff
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as point-person when manager is unavailable
 </li>
 <li>
 Reinforce SOPs, workflows, and expectations on the floor
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide feedback on performance, process gaps, and staffing needs
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep morale steady during busy seasons
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 &nbsp;Inventory Accuracy &amp; Flow
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist with receiving inbound inventory and checking counts
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate inventory levels in systems (Shopify / WMS)
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute cycle counts and full inventory audits
 </li>
 <li>
 Flag discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods immediately
 </li>
 <li>
 Help ensure inventory is stored, labeled, and organized correctly
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with getting transfers processed for store locations and shipped out
 </li>
 </ul>

 Experience &amp; Skills
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 1-3 years in warehouse, fulfillment, or operations roles
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior lead, supervisor, or assistant manager experience required
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with inventory systems or e-commerce fulfillment a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable with basic tech/tools (Shopify, scanners, spreadsheets)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and follow-through
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lift, move, and work on your feet as needed
 </li>
