Conduct inspections; receiving, 1st piece, in-process, final inspections, and reporting.</li><li>
Help develop sampling plans.</li><li>
Production line quality support activities.</li><li>
Assist in PPAPS, Control Plans, FEMA, Gage R&amp;R as applicable.</li><li>
Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management System (ISO 9001).</li><li>
Liaise and communicate with other departments.</li><li>
Report quality anomalies to the supervisor and initiate non-conformance reports.</li><li>
Process returned material from customers as per company&rsquo;s procedures.</li><li>
Internal gage calibration and auditing/sorting of parts as assigned.</li><li>
Daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other data entry as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>
Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul><li>
High school diploma.</li><li>
Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.</li><li>
Experience using inspection tools such as: height stands, calipers, micrometers, thread gages, pin gages, etc.</li><li>
High level of visual awareness and attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to stand for long periods of time.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.</li><li>
Ability to read a basic blueprint.</li><li>
Knowledge of advanced measuring equipment (Microview, CMM) and GD&amp;T (preferred).</li></ul>

Quality Technician

<div><div><b>Quality Engineer Core Responsibilities:</b><br>
<ul><li>Responsible for process procedures, quality manuals, and APQP/QMS discipline.</li><li>Ensure products meet the customer quality specifications and GDT.</li><li>Generate and manage PPAPS, Control Plans, FEMA, Gage R&amp;R as applicable.</li><li>Support the estimating and operations teams by providing analysis and expertise with respect to capabilities and final inspection.</li><li>Identify and facilitate problem resolution for internal and external (customer and supplier) non-conformances. Determine the root causes and implement corrective actions and prevention through use of 8D and 5 whys.</li><li>Eliminate process variation by creating, revising, and implementing a set of tightly and precisely defined procedures or quality standards that when followed, ensure the final quality of the product.</li><li>Creation and maintenance of quality documentation and SOPs in accordance with our Quality Management System (QMS).</li><li>Lead, plan, and audit the Layered Process Audits (LPA) in accordance with our Quality Management System (QMS).</li><li>Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.</li><li>Statistical analysis of manufacturing data and creation of reports based on quality documentation.</li><li>Develop inspection methods to analyze product quality and verify products meet customer requirements.</li><li>Work with teams and departments to improve products and processes.</li><li>Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.</li><li>Complete supplier and performance audits to enhance process.</li><li>Support purchasing and operations leadership with supplier development &amp; supplier qualification initiatives.</li><li>Implement supplier improvement plans and walk alongside to help them improve using lean statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques.</li><li>Maintain detailed reports</li></ul></div><div><b>
Qualifications:</b><br>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in an engineering discipline or commensurate experience.</li><li>5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or similar role.</li><li>Experience with and understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, ITAR.</li><li>Experience assisting with supplier quality issues.</li><li>Ability to rigorously assess and analyze customer, supplier, and vendor data along with internal metrics and drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of machining and production processes (lathe, mill, grind, etc.).</li><li>Experience with quality measurement tools and systems (preferred).</li><li>Experience with statistical analysis, design of experiments, and lean manufacturing (preferred).</li><li>ASQ certification (preferred).</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.</li></ul></div><p>
