Job Details: <ul><li>6-month contract to hire </li><li>Onsite Setup in 9330 Center Lake Dr, Charlotte, NC 28216</li><li>W2, with benefits</li><li>Payrate negotiable upon interview</li></ul>Job Description: The Principal Cybersecurity Contracts, Negotiations, and Redlines is a senior-level role responsible for leading and managing all cybersecurity-related contract negotiations, reviews, and redlining activities. This role ensures that contractual agreements with suppliers, vendors, and partners comply with corporate cybersecurity policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.What You Will Do: <ul><li>Lead the review, analysis, and negotiation of cybersecurity terms and conditions in contracts with suppliers, vendors, and third parties.</li><li>Develop and maintain cybersecurity contract templates, playbooks, and standard clauses aligned with industry best practices and corporate policies.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Legal, Procurement, Cybersecurity, and Business Units to ensure cybersecurity requirements are effectively incorporated into contracts.</li><li>Manage the redlining process to ensure timely and accurate updates to contract language, mitigating cybersecurity risks and complying with regulatory and corporate standards.</li><li>Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity risk implications related to contract terms, including data protection, incident response, liability, and compliance obligations.</li><li>Advise stakeholders on emerging cybersecurity threats and regulatory changes impacting contractual obligations.</li><li>Support dispute resolution and escalation related to cybersecurity contractual issues.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Law, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.</li><li>8+ years of experience in cybersecurity contract management, legal negotiations, or related roles.</li><li>Strong knowledge of cybersecurity risks, data privacy laws, regulatory requirements, and contract law.</li><li>Experience negotiating complex contracts with cybersecurity provisions in Technology, cloud, or vendor management contexts.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to interpret technical cybersecurity requirements and translate them into clear contractual language.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.</li><li>Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.</li></ul>Desired Professional Certifications: <ul><li>CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)</li><li>CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional)</li><li>CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)</li><li>Legal or contract management certifications (e.g., Certified Commercial Contracts Manager - CCCM)</li><li>Negotiation or mediation training/certifications</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $141,000.00 - $170,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you a visa candidate or under a C2C employer? </li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Contract management: 3 years (Required)</li><li>Cybersecurity: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Charlotte, NC 28216 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
