In this role, you will leverage your strong data analysis skills to transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Your expertise in data visualization, database management, and project management will drive efficiency and innovation across our legal services.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics and trends.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective data solutions.</li><li>Design and optimize database structures using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational database systems to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.</li><li>Perform data extraction, transformation (ETL), and loading processes utilizing Talend, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and VBA to prepare datasets for analysis.</li><li>Apply business analysis techniques within Agile project management frameworks to identify opportunities for process improvements.</li><li>Manage the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for analytics projects from planning through deployment.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights that inform strategic initiatives.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.</li><li>Strong knowledge of SQL programming for database querying and management.</li><li>Experience with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools; familiarity with Python and Bash scripting is a plus.</li><li>Understanding of database design principles for relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.</li><li>Ability to conduct business analysis within an Agile environment; experience with project management methodologies is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of SDLC practices for analytics projects; familiarity with analysis skills including R programming is advantageous.</li><li>Competence in creating detailed process diagrams using Visio; experience with data integration via Linked Data concepts is beneficial.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills complemented by strong communication abilities to present findings clearly.
