JOB SUMMARY: The <i>Dedicated</i> <i>Logistics Coordinator</i> provides overall direction throughout the Dedicated Fleet operation and provides operational assistance to the Director of Dedicated Operations wherever needed.</div><div></div><div>
JOB DESCRIPTION:</div><div>
Key Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Maintains positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers</li><li>
Provides constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal (STEVENS TRANSPORT) and external (Customer)</li><li>
Performs load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using both AS400</li><li>
Coordinates daily data entry into STEVENS TRANSPORT&rsquo;s TMS platform</li><li>
Coordinates with home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices</li><li>
Ensures accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks</li><li>
Provides weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external parties</li><li>
Coordinates daily on scheduling truck and trailer maintenance.</li><li>
Works with safety department on Netradyne, driver compliance and HOS issues</li><li>
Assists Director of Dedicated Operations with implementing STEVENS TRANSPORT&rsquo;s Safety, Security and Labor policies</li><li>
Assists and provides coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary</li><li>
Assists with driver payroll</li><li>
Audits and approves driver expense reports</li><li>
Provides assistance to wherever needed</li><li>
Regular and ad-hoc reporting (P&amp;L, revenue share, load counts, etc.)</li></ul><div></div><div>
QUALIFICATIONS:</div><div>
Minimum Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Minimum 2-3 years&rsquo; experience in logistics and/or transportation</li><li>
Computer applications experience including MS Office</li><li>
Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision-making skills</li><li>
Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>
Ability to work efficiently and multitask</li><li>
Ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary</li><li>
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable federal/state regulations and DOT regulations</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel reporting functions</li></ul><div></div><div>
Preferred Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Familiarity with transportation of temperature-controlled product</li><li>
Highly organized and communicative, especially in the development of actions plans and to ensure accountability and follow-through</li><li>
Ability to perform in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities</li><li>
Some knowledge of the AS400 operating system preferred</li></ul><div></div><div>
