 to support our heavy industrial and mining projects across the UAE.
 
 
 
 
 
 This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys seeing designs move from concept through fabrication to site execution.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The Role
 
 
 
 As a Structural / Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the engineering, design, and detailing of complex steel structures used in mining and heavy industrial applications. Working closely with engineering, fabrication, and site teams, you will ensure accurate, high-quality, and buildable deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 &bull; Design and analyse steel structures for mining and heavy industrial projects
 
 
 &bull; Produce detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for conveyors, transfer towers, chutes, crusher stations, pipe racks, platforms, handrails, and heavy-duty structures
 
 
 &bull; Develop complete detailing packages including shop drawings, erection plans, connection details, and material take-offs
 
 
 &bull; Ensure designs comply with AISC, ISO, and project-specific mining standards
 
 
 &bull; Coordinate with fabrication workshops to ensure designs align with manufacturing capabilities
 
 
 &bull; Support site construction teams by resolving technical queries and clarifying erection requirements
 
 
 &bull; Manage drawing revisions, RFIs, and engineering documentation
 
 
 &bull; Continuously improve detailing workflows and quality control processes
 
 
 
 
 
 
 About You
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
 
 
 &bull; 4&ndash;6 years&rsquo; experience in structural steel design and detailing within industrial or mining projects
 
 
 &bull; Strong experience using STAAD Pro for analysis and design
 
 
 &bull; Advanced skills in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Advance Steel, and ProSteel
 
 
 &bull; Experience with RAM Connection and conveyor design software (e.g. Sidewinder) is highly desirable
 
 
 &bull; Strong attention to detail with a practical, construction-focused mindset
 
 
 &bull; Able to work effectively across engineering, fabrication, and site teams
