The Sales &amp; Marketing Director plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to increase/maintain occupied units and census through the sales process, and secondarily to coordinate marketing activities to further the Community brand.</p>

Essential Job Functions</b></h4>
<ul><li>Engage in selling the community by managing inquiries and prospects through the sales cycle to deposit and move-in.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a Customer Relationship Management database of all prospects and community contacts to track all sales activities.</li>
<li>Maintain weekly productivity goals to achieve the number of leads and deposits.</li>
<li>Work with other staff to identify new and potential referral sources and develop productive relationships.</li>
<li>Manage a quarterly marketing plan by executing the tactical activities (as identified in the plan) to reach census goals.</li>
<li>Participates in the planning and implementation of marketing events designed to cultivate new prospects, professional referrals and to promote the community.</li>
<li>Represents the facility at professional events on- and off-site to educate and inform the participants on the facility&rsquo;s capabilities and product offerings.</li>
<li>Track department's expenses to budget monthly and annually and submit expenditures to Executive Director for review, recommendations, and approval.</li>
<li>Manage marketing inventory of collateral and branded promotion items and stay within the projected budget at all times.</li>
<li>Determine staffing requirement necessary to meet the department&rsquo;s needs.</li>
<li>Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains staff in the department.</li>
<li>Oversees the daily workflow of the department.</li>
<li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Knowledge and Critical Skills</b></h4>
<ul><li>Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.</li>
<li>Deal tactfully with personnel, prospects, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.</li>
<li>Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, team members, prospects, residents, and families.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.</li>

<ul><li>Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and/or 3 years of experience in Sales &amp; Marketing preferred.</li>
<li>Proficiency with sales and marketing tools preferred.</li>
