We empower our leaders and provide the support and autonomy you need to succeed.</li></ul>Key ResponsibilitiesWe're looking for a leader who can effectively manage the day-to-day and see the big picture. Your responsibilities will be focused on four key areas:<ul><li>Leadership &amp; Team Management: Hire, train, and evaluate supervisors, administrative staff, and operators. Foster a positive work environment, respond to employee needs, and build a team dedicated to excellence.</li><li>Operational Excellence: Plan and assess all aspects of the transit service to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. Monitor KPIs, ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations, and develop policies that improve service.</li><li>Client &amp; Community Relations: Act as a key point of contact with our clients and the public. Continuously monitor customer satisfaction and build strong, trusting relationships within the community.</li><li>Financial Oversight: Assist in managing cost controls and financial budgets to ensure the operation is effective and fiscally sound.</li></ul>Qualifications of an Ideal Candidate<ul><li>Experience: A minimum of 3 years of management experience in a fixed-route and/or paratransit bus operation, supervising at least 25 employees.</li><li>Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of transit system regulations (federal and state), employment laws, and operational best practices.</li><li>Leadership Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence people at all levels.</li><li>Technical Proficiency: Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with transportation technology (apps, scheduling software, etc.).</li><li>Licensing: The ability to obtain a Commercial License (Class B) with Passenger and other relevant endorsements.</li><li>Education: A college degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is desirable, but a strong combination of experience and education will be considered.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive Salary: $62,400 - $70,000 per year, based on experience (DOE).</li><li>Comprehensive Benefits: We offer a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.</li><li>Retirement Plan: 401(k) retirement plan.</li><li>Paid Time Off: Paid vacation, sick days, and 8 paid holidays.</li></ul>Ready to Lead with Us?If you are a qualified candidate with direct experience in transit management, we encourage you to apply.Job Type: Full-timePay: $62,400.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
