Our team of seasoned professionals is eager to share our expertise and commitment to excellence.Job Description/Responsibilities:Responsibilities: The Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Manage and oversee Electrical engineering projects of various sizes and complexity for residential and commercial projects</li><li>Prepare the concept design and complete load calculations, schematics, equipment selection and system concept report</li><li>Design Electrical systems including but not limited to electrical distribution, transfer switching, UPS, grounding and bonding, lighting and control systems, life safety and emergency systems, and fire alarm.</li><li>Design for ICAT services including but not limited to communication systems, AV systems, security access and monitoring systems, equipment, and structured cabling.</li><li>Write construction specifications</li><li>Analyze customer design proposals and specifications to determine cost effective solutions</li><li>Ensure professional quality services in all facets of work</li><li>Coach and mentor a project team to ensure technical accuracy of project deliverables</li><li>Manage a team to ensure cost effective, safe, and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectations</li><li>Manage project activities throughout lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, documentation, and other factors necessary for success</li><li>Work with clients to deliver the end project</li><li>Prepare and review specification and concept reports</li><li>Provide mentoring to technical staff, assigning duties as required</li><li>Visit the site once under construction when required</li><li>Provide quality and cost control during the design and construction process</li><li>Maintain project schedules and project cost summaries to track work progress, budget status, and manpower resource utilization</li><li>Escalate and identify the need for additional services and fees</li><li>Assist with Shop drawing reviews as required</li><li>Overtime as required</li></ul>Qualifications, Experience and Education: <ul><li>Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Electrical or other relevant engineering discipline is preferred.</li><li>Other professional qualifications will be considered coupled with relevant experience</li><li>Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E)</li><li>Completion of a degree or diploma in project management will be considered an asset</li><li>LEED accreditation is an asset</li><li>Experience and Requirements:</li><li>5+ years of industry related experience</li><li>Consulting engineering background is preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of engineering contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers</li><li>Mechanical and Electrical coordination experience</li><li>Construction experience will be considered an asset</li><li>Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods</li><li>Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines</li><li>Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills</li><li>Advanced interpersonal, team building, leadership, and organizational skills</li><li>Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management</li><li>Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Able to visualize and maneuver in a virtually constructed environment.</li><li>Proven ability to meet deadlines/successful completion of deliverables.</li><li>Highly effectively communication skills both verbally and in writing in order to relay complex ideas to other technical professionals and non-technical people.</li><li>High creativity and imagination.</li><li>Team and customer service focused.</li><li>Self-motivated, hardworking, flexible.</li><li>Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail-oriented.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Comprehensive health insurance with Health Savings Account (HSA)</li><li>Dental and Vision coverage.</li><li>Company-funded short-term and long-term disability coverage.</li><li>Company-sponsored life insurance.</li><li>Robust 401(k) retirement plan.</li><li>Flexible work schedule opportunities.</li></ul>If you meet the qualifications and possess the requisite skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
