In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facility&rsquo;s equipment, machinery, and systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, and executing repairs swiftly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the overall success of our operations.Duties<ul><li>Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and other equipment to prevent breakdowns.</li><li>Diagnose mechanical failures using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.</li><li>Repair and service appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and related equipment with precision and attention to detail.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately.</li><li>Assist with construction or installation projects involving mechanical systems or equipment upgrades.</li><li>Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for all repairs performed.</li><li>Lead or support team members during maintenance activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and tasks are completed effectively.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance mechanic in an industrial or commercial setting.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair.</li><li>Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and diagnostic tools used for troubleshooting.</li><li>Experience working with HVAC systems&mdash;including air conditioning&mdash;and refrigeration units is highly desirable.</li><li>Background in construction or building maintenance is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide or collaborate with team members during maintenance projects.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
