<div>We are a medium-sized law firm with three offices in Asheville, Hendersonville and Raleigh. We are seeking a Paralegal or Legal Assistant to become a part of our Asheville team! You will provide overall support to clients, staff and attorneys.
Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents</li>
<li>Interface in person, by phone and by email with clients to help determine their needs and goals, and implement solutions</li>
<li>Compile, Scan and File Estate Planning Documents</li>
<li>Record and store client information</li>
<li>Schedule clients for appointments and answer client calls and emails</li>
<li>Assist with clients' titling of assets to comport with their estate plans and goals</li>
</ul>
Requirements
Qualifications:<ul>
<li>
Previous experience in the estate planning legal field or in a general practice law office or financial services office is preferred but not required</li>
<li>Ability to stay organized, prioritize and multitask</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Deadline and detail-oriented</li>
<li>Familiarity with standard office software as well as legal software such as Clio is preferred</li>
<li>Works well in a team environment</li>
</ul>
