We are not interested in out-of-state or fully remote applicants.The RoleWe&rsquo;re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO Focus) to join our growing team.This position is perfect for someone who&rsquo;s passionate about digital marketing and wants hands-on experience with SEO &mdash; even if you don&rsquo;t have years of experience yet. You&rsquo;ll receive training and mentorship from experienced marketers while learning how to improve websites&rsquo; visibility in Google, help businesses generate leads, and measure results.You&rsquo;ll collaborate with Account Managers, Content Writers, and Web Developers on campaigns that make a real difference for local businesses.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Assist with keyword research to identify high-value search terms.</li><li>Help plan and optimize website content for SEO and user experience.</li><li>Audit websites for SEO improvements such as titles, metadata, and internal linking.</li><li>Learn to analyze website performance using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.</li><li>Support local SEO efforts by optimizing Google Business Profiles and directory listings.</li><li>Collaborate with our content and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.</li><li>Create simple monthly reports showing client progress and visibility gains.</li><li>Stay up to date with the latest SEO, AI, and marketing trends.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Someone eager to learn and grow in the digital marketing field.</li><li>A great communicator with strong writing and grammar skills.</li><li>Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects.</li><li>Excited by problem-solving and analytics &mdash; curious about why things perform the way they do.</li><li>Genuinely interested in how AI is transforming search &mdash; and how great SEO helps brands appear in AI-driven results (like Google&rsquo;s Search Generative Experience and ChatGPT responses).</li><li>Self-motivated, responsible, and proactive.</li><li>Able to work collaboratively with a fun, talented team.</li></ul>Preferred Experience (Nice to Have, Not Required)<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of hands-on SEO or digital marketing experience, ideally in an agency setting.</li><li>Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.</li><li>Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress (Elementor or Gutenberg), Squarespace, or Shopify.</li><li>Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.</li><li>Exposure to PPC advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).</li><li>Coursework or internship experience in marketing, communications, or business.</li><li>Experience writing or editing blog or website content.</li><li>Basic HTML, CSS, or JavaScript knowledge (a plus, not required).</li></ul>Why You&rsquo;ll Love Working Here<ul><li>Paid medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Paid holidays and paid time off</li><li>Hybrid schedule &ndash; 3 days in office (Tuesday&ndash;Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday &amp; Friday)</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Ongoing training and mentorship</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>About the PositionOur agency represents clients across a wide variety of industries, so no two days are the same.
