We are seeking a Structural Engineer in Training to join our diverse team of dedicated and motivated professionals here in our main office in Naperville, IL. Ideal candidates are self-motivated individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to efficiency. 

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Work directly with Senior Project Engineers and Executives.
</li>
<li>Assure all engineering work performed adheres to good engineering practice.
</li>
<li>Use knowledge, judgement and technical capabilities in the design and evaluation of projects.
</li>
<li>Visit project work sites as needed.
</li>
<li>Design, develop, implement, and analyze technical products and systems.
</li>
<li>Anticipate information needed for projects and taking the necessary action to obtain it.
</li>
<li>Consult with other engineers, clients, etc., as necessary throughout the life of the project.
</li>
<li>Effectively handle complex structural design and efficiently utilize company resources to complete projects.
</li>
<li>Coordinate and assume responsibility for all work done under their direction.
</li>
<li>Complete work on time and within the allotted budget.
</li>
<li>Comply with any and all other requests as made by other team members or managers.
</li>
<li>Commute to main office multiple times a week.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Must possess at minimum a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Design. Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus.
</li>
<li>Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of Structural Engineering.
</li>
<li>Must have basic knowledge with engineering software programs such as RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, Excel, etc. and basic knowledge with AutoCAD.
</li>
<li>Must be familiar with AISC, ACI, ASCE, NDS, and Building Codes.
</li>
<li>Must be willing to work flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
</li>
<li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions. We are not able to sponsor visas at this time.
</li>
<li>Work experience in Structural Design Engineering is a plus.</li></ul>
