We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to be based in our Dubai office. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for managing complex construction projects that make the structures of the UAE and GCC stronger and last longer.
As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>
Managing self-performed complex repair and restoration projects</li><li>
Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions while working with internal contracts teams as needed</li><li>
Developing and managing schedules in collaboration with field leadership</li><li>
Maintaining profit &amp; loss responsibility as well as other project financials including projections, etc.</li><li>
Providing strong leadership, mentorship and supervision to Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and subcontractors</li><li>
Working closely with in-house Estimators and Sales teams to assist in reviewing bids and developing proposals.</li><li>
Evaluating risk and loss exposure on projects managed</li><li>
Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships</li><li>
Demonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects</li></ul>
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position:<ul><li>
Excellent written and verbal English communication and technical writing</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/construction management or related field of study</li><li>
5+ years of relevant experience within the Commercial construction and / or restoration industry</li><li>
Ability to speak and write in Arabic preferred</li><li>
Demonstrated capability to successfully manage construction projects.</li><li>
Previous experience managing projects that include structural concrete repair, waterproofing, fa&ccedil;ade repair and/or historic restoration.</li><li>
Proven knowledge of computer-based programs including Microsoft Office as well as project management and forecasting tools</li><li>
Strong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others.</li><li>
The ability to work effectively with a team</li><li>
Capable of managing multiple projects and ensuring successful and on-time delivery</li><li>
Job location is in the UAE with flexibility to travel within the GCC</li></ul>

STRUCTURAL is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This position is a growth opportunity for an aspiring leader and will focus on concrete repair and rehabilitation work across the Middle East.
Collectively, STRUCTURAL with its partners in Middle East form the most advanced and technologically integrated concrete specialty repair solution provider in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region in general. Our integrated investigate-design-build teams identify problems, create repair solutions, and implement repair projects for owners in commercial, industrial, power generation, and other key markets.
At STRUCTURAL, we spend our time working with our fully integrated repair companies to perform field investigations and develop repair solutions for existing structures and buildings. This position will be a role that requires in-depth knowledge of how concrete structures are designed and behave, including: industrial and power-generating buildings and structures; dynamic equipment foundations; and environmental (liquid-retaining) structures.
Position Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Perform and document inspections of concrete work to ensure compliance with the project requirements, specifications, project execution plans, codes, and industry standards.</li><li>
Manage a team of 3-5 QAQC Engineers/Technicians within the project
</li><li>Communicates effectively, preferably in English. Other languages are an advantage.</li><li>
Completes daily Quality Report, makes inspections of completed or partially completed works, engages with the team on quality related trainings, discussions etc.</li><li>
Enforces established job site policies, procedures, and standards of performance.</li><li>
Assemble data into reports and communicate results in writing and verbally ensuring completeness and accuracy of all inspection and testing records prior to submitting.</li><li>
Coordinate required paperwork and signoffs for owner acceptance.</li><li>
Sound expertise to responsibly elaborate proficient QA/QC documentation of civil repair construction projects. Develop &amp; review all important QA/QC documents such as method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project. Proficient in handling / issuing inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations.</li><li>
Raises inspections via project management portal and engages with client team for joint visual inspection and close outs.</li><li>
Maintains as built drawings onsite, and coordinates with drafting team for timeous close out of project completion documents.</li><li>
Performs daily site walks of designated work areas, records photographs.</li><li>
Reviews project and task documentation, updates method of statements, ITP documents, reviews sub-con inspection/checklist.</li></ul>
Position Requirements:<ul><li>
Quality Foreman with bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering or other Civil Construction Field</li><li>
Minimum 10 years working in the field of QA/QC with strong foreman background and related activities of all aspects of execution of civil construction works.</li><li>
Minimum 5 years expertise in the field of concrete repair, experience in coatings and waterproofing and/or cathodic protection of concrete is an advantage</li></ul>
