We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our data centre projects in Abu Dhabi. STS Group is a market-leading MEP contractor (though primarily E&amp;I), working mostly on mission-critical projects for blue-chip clients. We are part of the Dussman Group, a privately owned, large-scale integrated facility management specialist headquartered in Berlin. 
 
The Opportunity 
As our next Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering activities on one of our key projects, coordinating the technical design with the onsite installation through to the successful commissioning ensuring that we achieve our project aims and objectives safely, efficiently and to the highest quality. 
 
Some of the Key Tasks 
<ul><li>Complete mechanical design review to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in the specifications. Ensure that technical assessments are completed as required and any issues are resolved without delay.</li>
<li>Attend &amp; record regular supply chain meetings to ensure that progress is monitored &amp; maintained within the overall construction programme.</li>
<li>Ensuring our sites are compliant to all relevant HSE legislation, and adherent to our HSEQ Management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 &amp; 45001).</li>
<li>Proactively work with site management teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery of the project,</li>
<li>Reviewing the mechanical installation with the BIM team to ensure the design is constructible with adequate space for installation and maintenance of all other equipment and structures.</li>
</ul>
 
Who We&rsquo;re Looking For 
<ul><li>Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or mechanical/pipefitting trade qualification and with plenty of projects completed.</li>
<li>5+ years&rsquo; mechanical engineering experience, ideally with both design and project delivery.</li>
<li>Experience in either pharmaceutical plant or data centre environments (ideally)</li>
<li>Candidates must have work authorisation for Germany (e.g: EU Citizen or valid work permit)</li>

<div>Join STS Group as our next MEP BIM Modeler for a Data Centre in Abu Dhabi 
 
We are seeking an experienced MEP BIM Modeler to support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical Data Centre projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production, coordination, and quality of BIM models and CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with data centre design standards. 
 
The Opportunity 
As an MEP BIM Modeler, you will play a key role in the development and coordination of highly detailed MEP BIM models for Data Centre projects, supporting design development, construction coordination, and handover. Working closely with BIM Managers, Project Managers, engineers, and contractors, you will contribute to the successful delivery of complex, fast-paced, and technically demanding projects. 
 
Role Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Produce detailed CAD drawings and BIM Revit models for Data Centre MEP systems, including power, cooling, containment, and life-safety systems.</li>
<li>Develop, update, and manage 3D BIM models for CSD and SEM coordination and construction submissions.</li>
<li>Generate accurate 2D drawings from BIM models in accordance with client, office, and Data Centre drafting standards.</li>
<li>Ensure all models and drawings meet strict quality, accuracy, and programme requirements typical of mission-critical projects.</li>
<li>Take ownership of model quality, consistency, and coordination across disciplines.</li>
<li>Maintain comprehensive records of issued and received models and drawings, clash reports, RFIs, and BIM registers in line with company ISO procedures.</li>
<li>Perform regular drawing backups and maintain organised project directories and model environments.</li>
<li>Participate in CSD coordination and clash resolution meetings with engineers, designers, and construction teams.</li>
<li>Identify, document, distribute, and track CSD/SEM issues through to resolution.</li>
<li>Support construction and client presentations using BIM models and visual outputs.</li>
<li>Work under the supervision of the BIM Manager and carry out assigned project tasks.</li>
<li>Report regularly to the Project Manager on progress, risks, and deliverables.</li>
<li>Promote teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the BIM and project teams.</li>
</ul>Required Skills / Qualifications 
<ul><li>Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant discipline.</li>
<li>Preferably 3&ndash;5 years&rsquo; experience in BIM modelling and design coordination, ideally within Data Centres, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Revit for MEP modelling, with working knowledge of Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.</li>
<li>Experience using AutoCAD and MicroStation for drafting and legacy project support.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of Data Centre MEP systems, coordination requirements, and construction sequencing.</li>
<li>Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.</li>
<li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and within multidisciplinary teams.</li>
<li>Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.</li>
