 The Interior Designer position provides unlicensed or developing interior designers with the opportunity to coordinate the production and delivery of design documents for a variety of clientele and project types. In this role they gain the experience needed and develop the required skills to grow into the role of either an Interior Designer or Project Manager. Interior Coordinators are the future project leaders at Studio+.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of comparable experience working in a design firm
 </li>
 <li>
 Preferred candidates should hold a Bachelor of Interior Design degree from a CIDA accredited institution
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Studio+ was an early adopter of BIM and uses Revit on all projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Intent to aggressively pursue licensure is preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Additional drafting, illustration, and rendering experience is required
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to engage in a collaborative workplace, which may involve working alongside fellow architects and maintaining professional relationships with clients
 </li>
 <li>
 Design professional developing skills in independent evaluation, judgement, selection, and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in the construction industry
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for specific design tasks requiring research, evaluation, and adaptation on assigned projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform tasks with minimum supervision and capability to create deliverable schedules, coordination with consulting engineers and interior designers
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic Knowledge of interior design and architectural principles, practices and techniques as well as standard operations, policies and procedures of a firm within the A/E industry
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, codes, and regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to be proactive in determining the necessary steps to meet objectives and performance expectations of position
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Tasks outlined, but not limited to those listed:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide creative interior design solutions for various project conditions by drawing on an expertise built on experience and education
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate small project teams of varying sizes and disciplines, effectively leveraging the strengths of the individual team members to guarantee project success
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for space planning, test fits, and drawing modifications for assigned projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the interior design department to set standards for the future production of all design deliverables
 </li>
 <li>
 Research interior products and applies established interior design standards to achieve excellence in all Studio+ projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and select colors, finishes, and materials
 </li>
 <li>
 Organized documentation of all correspondence with Studio+ project team, engineers, and vendors
 </li>
 <li>
 Supports business development activities through assistance with aids such as finish or mood boards, PowerPoint presentations
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains resource materials library including, interior design specifications, calculations, and industry standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and participate in all phases of projects including schematic design, design development, construction documents, technical specifications, bidding and negotiation, permitting, quality control, value engineering, and coordination of engineering disciplines
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and select colors, finishes, and materials and FF&amp;E items such as furniture, artwork, and signage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Works under the direction of Interior Design Manager and/or Sr. Interiors Project Manager
