Downtown law firm looking for a part-time or full-time legal assistant/paralegal. Knowledge/understanding of Legal terminology and procedures is required, and prior experience in a law firm. Experience in Creditor Rights, Bankruptcy, and Foreclosure law preferred.Responsibilities include working with attorneys to prepare pleadings and related legal documents necessary to complete litigation, contacting courts to schedule hearings, and maintaining client files.
