Join us in shaping the future of styling.OVERVIEW: The Director of Digital Marketing will own our end-to-end digital strategy, blending data-driven performance marketing with compelling brand storytelling to drive awareness, engagement, and sales across both professional and consumer channels. This role will lead our digital roadmap, manage a mix of in-house talent and external partners, and ensure that all digital touchpoints deliver a best-in-class experience for stylists, distributors, and consumers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Own the digital marketing strategy &amp; roadmap across paid, owned, and earned channels, setting clear goals, KPIs, and performance standards that support overall brand and revenue objectives.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and grow the digital marketing function, including internal team members and agency partners, fostering a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Develop and oversee integrated digital campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms, ensuring cohesive storytelling and full-funnel performance.</li><li>Drive e-commerce growth by increasing qualified traffic and improving conversion rates through SEO/SEM, paid media, affiliate programs, and email marketing initiatives.</li><li>Own CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy, building and optimizing automated email workflows, segmentation, and lifecycle campaigns tailored to stylists, distributors, and consumers.</li><li>Manage digital marketing budgets and forecasting, allocating spend across channels to maximize ROI and customer acquisition and retention goals.</li><li>Lead analytics and performance reporting across all digital channels, translating data into actionable insights, clear narratives, and strategic recommendations for leadership.</li><li>Collaborate closely with creative, education, sales, and product teams to align digital campaigns with brand launches, promotional calendars, education initiatives, and key business priorities.</li><li>Oversee relationships with digital agencies, influencers, affiliates, and external vendors, ensuring high-quality execution, brand alignment, and measurable outcomes.</li><li>Champion digital best practices and stay ahead of beauty, grooming, and digital trends to identify new opportunities for audience growth, channel innovation, and competitive differentiation.</li><li>Safeguard and elevate the brand across all digital touchpoints, ensuring consistent voice, visual identity, and customer experience from first touch through loyalty.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul>ABILITIES<ul><li>Strong understanding of market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop teams and agencies, including setting goals, coaching talent, and managing performance.</li><li>Strong creative judgment and the ability to balance brand storytelling with performance marketing and revenue goals.</li><li>Experience managing integrated campaigns that engage both professionals (stylists, distributors, education partners) and end consumers.</li><li>Highly analytical and comfortable with data, with the ability to build and interpret dashboards, attribution reports, and cohort analyses to guide decision-making.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners around digital priorities.</li><li>Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.</li></ul>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field; or commensurate experience.</li><li>7&ndash;10+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or people management role.</li><li>Proven track record leading multi-channel digital strategies that drive measurable growth across e-commerce and brand KPIs.</li><li>Experience in professional beauty, grooming, or consumer lifestyle strongly preferred.</li><li>Deep expertise in e-commerce, performance marketing, and analytics, including platforms such as Google Analytics/GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager/Business Suite, and major email/CRM tools.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
