Role Overview

Subsea7 is hiring a Hook-Up Specialist to work in the Operations Department being in charge to support and coordinate all the EIC Precom activities, onshore and offshore. They will oversee managing vendors and subcontractors, as well as maintain good relationship with Client.
<br><br>
In addition, they will oversee developing technical requisition for material and equipment required for hook-up activities, as well as for technical scope of work for subcontracted services.
<br><br>
The Hook-Up Specialist will work in offshore hook-up campaign preparation by developing job cards, material tracker, tie in list, all activities list.
<br><br>
Key Responsibilities
<br><br>
Organize, coordinate and control the execution of the electrical and instrumentation works, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, ensuring the management of the interfaces with all construction disciplines and engineering departments, overseeing the availability of the construction materials and equipment and verifying that works is correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and schedule.
<br>Prepare Electrical, Instrument and Communication (EIC) all the test pack, Loop file etc. required for pre-commissioning package.
<br>Ensure full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures.
<br>Ensure safe commissioning, start-up and maintenance execution on Electrical Equipment, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international std.
<br>Set and promote Leadership in Safety attitudes.
<br>Verifies that the Commissioning & Start-up requirements are accounted in the engineering documents.
<br>Reviews the Vendors schedule and assignment, concerning the Commissioning, Start-up and test run activities.
<br><br>
<b>Tasks:</b><br>
Define Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Execution Plan
<br>Ensures that all activities within his area of responsibility are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements.
<br>Acknowledge the involvement of its job role in the PTW system and verify the safety measures described in the PTW for its job role involvement, including area preparation and restoration.
<br>Identifies, reports and follows up risks within his area of responsibility.
<br>Identifies and control hazards to avoid damage to equipment, personnel and the environment.
<br>Supervises the Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Start-up activities according to the approved procedures and issue reports.
<br>Supports the specialists and the Vendors for the execution of the activities
<br>Ensure that the services are carried out in strict compliance with Company and Client current HSE rules.
<br>Take part of site coordination meetings
<br>Ensure the Preparation of Maintenance reports for submission to Company.
<br>Ensure the movement of spare parts according to the requirements.
<br>Prepare appropriate reporting on the progress, and, if necessary, on difficulties encountered.
<br>Set-up the proper tools for the management of the punch lists, producing adequate reports to monitor the status of the punch list points (open, closed, closure forecast dates).
<br>Plan all the activities related to punch lists management, Perform the walkthroughs.
<br>Ensure that punch lists issued after walkthroughs are promptly notified and correctly drawn up and recorded.
<br>Ensure the correct classification of the punch lists and identify the owner for each point.
<br>Coordinate the assigned team, managing the interfaces with construction and engineering team to close the punch lists.
<br>Negotiate with the Client the punch lists and their classifications, in accordance with the contractual scope of work and project requirements.

Qualifications
<br><br>
Engineering Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
<br>Previous experience in topsides construction activities.
<br>Ability to propose decision on technical items, Resources, Procurement
<br>10 years minimum of relevant work experience in Offshore Construction as Topside Pre-commissioning Electrical, Instrument and Communication Engineer (EIC).
<br>Good knowledge of standard office software (MS Office, MS Project).
<br>Fluent in English Language – speaking & writing.

<p></p><p>The Offshore Personnel Logistician (OPL) will be based in Cairo with potential travel to project sites across Egypt and is essential for the seamless execution of project scopes.</p><br>
<p></p><p><b>What will you be doing?</b></p><br>
<p></p><p>The OPL is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end crew mobilization and demobilization process, from arrival through all transit stages to vessel sign-on, as well as ensuring the safe departure of off-signing personnel. Acting as the central point of contact for crew logistics, the role ensures all movements are efficiently coordinated, accurately tracked, and aligned with project requirements through close collaboration with crewing teams and marine agents.</p><br>
<p></p><p><b>Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):</b></p>
<ul><li>Understanding of the Offshore Oil and gas Industry including the processes required to mobilize and travel personnel to international offshore worksites (transportation, visa, work permit, hotel bookings etc.).</li>
<li>Managing and following up crew changes with our marine agent (by sea or by chopper) including (visa / immigration, hotel booking, transportation, chopper arrangements with coordination with the agent.</li>
<li>Liaising with onshore and offshore crewing team / vessel team to plan and agree personnel movements, crew changes, and engage with them to manage crew personnel planned to their specific worksite.</li>
<li>Supporting coast guard &amp; G26 permits issuance request to company and following up with agent to receive on time for visitors of port.</li>
<li>Managing Crew movement of sign on &amp; sign off for all personnel of Subsea7, Client &amp; 3rd party on Subsea7 or 3rd party vessels working on the project. Updating and maintaining the tracker as required.</li>
<li>Transportation arrangements for all project personal movement inside Egypt if required by the project.</li>
<li>All agent requests must be issued as call-off and logged in to the Register. This ensures comprehensive activity tracking and accurate cost follow-up.</li>
<li>Acting as the primary point of contact for Crew movement activities for vessel(s).</li>
<li>There is a requirement for on call duty depending on business needs.</li>
<li>Provide general administrative support within the Crewing Team as required.</li><br>
