Job Title:Maintenance Technician &ndash; Caf&eacute; OperationsDepartment:Maintenance / Facilities / OperationsReports To:Operations Manager / Caf&eacute; Manager / Facilities SupervisorJob Summary:The Maintenance Technician &ndash; Caf&eacute; Operations is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of caf&eacute; equipment, facilities, and utilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, quick breakdown resolution, and ensuring minimal downtime of caf&eacute; operations.Key Responsibilities:Equipment Maintenance<ul><li>Maintain and service caf&eacute; equipment such as coffee machines, grinders, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and POS peripherals.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance as per schedules to avoid breakdowns.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical faults.</li><li>Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs and AMC services.</li></ul>Facility &amp; Utilities<ul><li>Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems, lighting, HVAC, water supply, and drainage.</li><li>Carry out minor civil, carpentry, and painting works as required.</li><li>Monitor utility consumption and report abnormalities.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards, fire safety norms, and electrical regulations.</li><li>Conduct routine safety checks and report hazards immediately.</li><li>Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and service records.</li></ul>Operational Support<ul><li>Attend emergency breakdown calls to minimize caf&eacute; downtime.</li><li>Support new caf&eacute; openings, equipment installation, and commissioning.</li><li>Assist caf&eacute; teams with basic equipment handling and care guidelines.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and basic plumbing systems.</li><li>Experience with caf&eacute; or kitchen equipment maintenance preferred.</li><li>Problem-solving and quick response ability.</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently across multiple caf&eacute; locations (if required).</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration &amp; Air Conditioning, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 1 year experience in caf&eacute;, restaurant, QSR, or hospitality maintenance.</li><li>Valid driving license (preferred for multi-location support).</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li>Shift-based role, including weekends and holidays.</li><li>On-call availability for emergency repairs.</li><li>Working in caf&eacute; environments with exposure to heat, electricity, and machinery.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Leave encashment</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
