Position OverviewSugared is seeking a professional, reliable, and client-focused Licensed Esthetician to join our team as a Sugaring Specialist. This role is centered around full body hair removal using the sugaring method, including Brazilian services.We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, provides a high-quality client experience, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Technical skill is important, but personality, work ethic, and client care are equally valued. Training is available for the right candidate.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform professional sugaring services, including:</li><li>Brazilian sugaring (female clients)</li><li>Bikini &amp; extended bikini</li><li>Underarms</li><li>Legs (full &amp; half)</li><li>Arms</li><li>Back, chest, stomach, and facial sugaring</li><li>Maintain proper sanitation and infection control procedures at all times</li><li>Prepare treatment room between each client</li><li>Conduct thorough client consultations and review contraindications</li><li>Ensure client comfort, modesty, and safety during all services</li><li>Educate clients on aftercare and home maintenance</li><li>Recommend and retail appropriate home care products</li><li>Rebook clients and help maintain retention</li><li>Document client notes and service details accurately</li><li>Maintain professional communication with clients (in person, phone, and booking software)</li></ul>Client Experience ExpectationsAt Sugared, the service is more than hair removal &mdash; it is an experience. The ideal candidate:<ul><li>Makes clients feel comfortable and at ease, especially during intimate services</li><li>Maintains professionalism and appropriate boundaries</li><li>Communicates clearly and confidently</li><li>Can talk with clients naturally and build relationships</li><li>Handles sensitive or nervous clients with reassurance and care</li><li>Works efficiently without making the client feel rushed</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Current State Esthetician License</li><li>Ability and willingness to perform Brazilian sugaring</li><li>Comfortable with full body hair removal services</li><li>Strong hygiene and sanitation practices</li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods</li><li>Ability to work a fast-paced schedule</li></ul>Preferred (but not required)<ul><li>Previous sugaring or waxing experience</li><li>Customer service or hospitality experience</li><li>Retail sales experience</li><li>Lash lift, brow, or facial service experience</li></ul>Training in our techniques and service standards will be provided.Personal Qualities We Are Looking For<ul><li>Friendly and welcoming personality</li><li>Compassionate and kind with clients</li><li>Team-oriented (no drama or competition mentality)</li><li>Coachable and open to feedback</li><li>Self-motivated and responsible</li><li>Detail-oriented</li><li>Professional appearance and communication</li><li>Comfortable talking with people all day</li></ul>Daily Duties &amp; Salon Responsibilities<ul><li>Opening or closing duties as scheduled</li><li>Laundry (linens, towels, wraps)</li><li>Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms and common areas</li><li>Restocking supplies</li><li>Maintaining product displays</li><li>Supporting team members when needed</li></ul>Work EnvironmentThis is a busy treatment room position. The schedule can be physically and mentally demanding, especially during peak seasons.
