Suite Stays Atlanta is looking for a reliable Handyman to join our team. In this role, you&rsquo;ll handle various maintenance and repair tasks to keep our properties in excellent condition for guests. A reliable vehicle is essential to move between properties, and you&rsquo;ll work within windows of opportunity between guest check-outs (10 AM) and check-ins (4 PM). Some urgent maintenance requests may require early mornings or after-hours availability, but our guest services team will coordinate these situations and set expectations with guests. While no certifications are required, you should be comfortable using a smartphone to document tasks, manage work orders, and communicate effectively with the team.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform general maintenance and repairs on properties and equipment.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues proactively.</li><li>Troubleshoot electrical components, HVAC systems, and internet connectivity.</li><li>Mount TVs, assemble furniture, and reinforce bedframes to ensure durability.</li><li>Handle plumbing issues like leaks, clogs, and installations.</li><li>Assist with cosmetic repairs, such as painting and drywall touch-ups.</li><li>Spot treat stains shampooing carpets and upholstery.</li><li>Secure floor and stair treads to prevent accidents.</li><li>Haul trash during property turnarounds.</li><li>Respond to urgent service requests and emergencies, with some flexibility for early mornings or after hours.</li><li>Manage smart home devices (e.g., Ring security cameras, Yale smart locks, door and sound sensors) via smartphone apps.</li><li>This position does require candidate to be on-call every other weekend</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Maintenance or handyman experience is preferred.</li><li>A reliable vehicle is required to travel between properties.</li><li>Familiarity with tools like multimeters, heat guns, moisture readers, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, breakers, and water heaters.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with the team.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the team and occasional guest interaction.</li><li>Flexibility to handle emergency requests outside regular hours.</li><li>Open to ongoing learning and training in property tech and best practices.</li></ul>At Suite Stays Atlanta, we&rsquo;re committed to providing a 5-star experience for our guests, and your work will be essential in making that happen.
