Job Summary</b></h2></div><div><p>
The Flagger/Reclamation Spotter will be responsible for providing support and coordination of customer and trucking activities at the URP Reclamation Site as well as remote mine operations. The Flagger/Spotter position sets up traffic control and then assists contract haulers from exiting the mine/ reclamation sites. The spotter position assists customer trucks to ensure they unload soils in the correct location at the mine/ reclamation site. This position may also be required to manually pick up debris found in truck loads to ensure quality of the mine/ reclamation activities. The Flagger/Spotter will also use monitoring equipment to confirm environmental compliance of import loads. This position also requires housekeeping and site cleanup as directed by Foreman and/or Site Management.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Main Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Assist crew with clean up and housekeeping around sites</li><li>
Complete needed site and area inspections</li><li>
Guide customer trucks to proper dump areas at Reclamation Sites</li><li>
Guide haulers out of mine site by flagging public traffic</li><li>
Monitor reclamation customer and contract hauler loads and remove debris (asphalt, trash, wood, etc)</li><li>
Set up traffic control</li><li>
Using environmental monitors to check loads as directed by Foreman and/or Site Manager</li><li>
Other duties as outlined by Foreman and/or Site Manager</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Education and/or Work Experience</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Previous Flagger training preferred</li><li>
Complete Flagger Certification and MSHA Training</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and be able to drive company vehicle</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Skills</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Ability to understand and follow Company Handbook and Safety Policies</li><li>
Ability to work well with others</li><li>
Must be able to follow oral and written plans and directions</li><li>
Must have a strong mechanical aptitude</li><li>
Must have a strong, team-oriented work ethic with strong focus on safety and environmental compliance</li><li>
