HOURS:</b> 37.5 hours per week</p><p><b>
COMPENSATION: </b>The starting hourly wage for this position is expected to be $18.00 per hour. The actual hourly wage will be determined based on experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.
</p><p><b>SCHEDULE*:</b> Tuesday 8:30 &ndash; 4:30pm/ Wednesday 9:30-4:30pm / Thursday 8:30 &ndash; 5:30pm / Friday 8:30&ndash; 6:30pm / Saturday 8:30 &ndash; 1:30</p><p></p><div><b><br>
Position Overview</b></div><div></div><div><br>
The primary function of a <b>Teller (Full Time)</b> is to provide quality member service while processing member transactions accurately and in a timely efficient manner. Exhibit knowledge in Branch Operational Procedures and promote relationships by referring and selling financial products and services that best suit our members&rsquo; needs.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Essential Functions</b></div><ul><li>
Represent the Credit Union with a positive, courteous, enthusiastic and professional attitude towards all members, colleagues, management, board members and outside vendors.</li><li>
Responsible for performing transactions accurately and efficiently via phone and in person.</li><li>
Responsible for balancing daily work.</li><li>
Answer inbound teller-line member support phones and process telephone requests.</li><li>
Consistently make appropriate and timely suggestions/referrals of products and services to members.</li><li>
Make quality referrals to Member Service Specialists for thorough review of features and benefits of products and services.</li><li>
Make quality referrals to the Summit Retirement and Investment Services department.</li><li>
Meet sales goals as determined by management using CML.</li><li>
Adhere to credit union policies and departmental/branch procedures.</li><li>
Update and document information learned about members in Contact Event Manager.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Other</b></div><ul><li>
Prepare workstation at the beginning of each day and ensure proper inventory of supplies throughout the day.</li><li>
Completion of special projects as assigned by the Head Teller or management.</li><li>
Assist Head Teller with daily close-out procedures and any other duties as requested.</li><li>
Strictly adhere to the established security and regulatory procedures while maintaining security of the work area and member sensitive documents, ensuring that it presents a well maintained, organized and neat appearance.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications</b></div><div><b><i>
Education/Experience:</i></b> An equivalent combination of the following:</div><ul><li>
High School Diploma/Equivalency required.</li><li>
Minimum six months&rsquo; cash handling experience.</li><li>
Prior sales experience preferred.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><i><br>
 Skills</i></b></div><ul><li>
Strong math and keyboarding skills required.</li><li>
Effective communication skills, including listening skills.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Proficient sales skills, with the ability to recognize opportunities that meet member needs.</li><li>
Ability to build member relationships and promote member loyalty.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Working Environment</b></div><ul><li>
Must be able to sit and or stand for an extended period of time in a normal office environment.</li><li>
Occasional lifting required.</li><li>
Ability to travel to other branch locations for staffing assistance, trainings and meetings as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><i><br>
