 Charge Coding Coordinator
 
 which ensures that charges are entered accurately, errors are addressed in a timely manner
 
 
 and all reports are completed. This is a
 
 full time
 
 opportunity.
 
 
 
 Examples of Duties (List does not include all duties assigned)
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Posts patient charges to the billing system for assigned site locations, using appropriate codes (ICD-10 / CPT).
 </li>
 <li>
 Makes corrections to billing information, as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain acceptable performance metrics to ensure superior quality of charge submission.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review charges for appropriate high-risk coding.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains knowledge of carrier specific coding requirements and edits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attends training and other meetings as appropriate; keeps current on revisions related to coding and computer skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cross-trains other staff in charge entry functions, skills, and updates, as coordinated with the AR Department Manager or Site Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains work area in neat and orderly manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.
 </li>
 <li>
 Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains Billing and Coding certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs other duties as assigned.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Education
 
 
 
 High School Diploma required.
 
 
 
 Experience
 
 
 
 Prefer one-year coding experience in a medical office setting or health information associates degree.
 
 
 
 Certification/License
 
 
 
 Billing and Coding certification required. AAPC (CPC, CRC), AHIMA (CCA, CCS) and NHA (CBCS) accepted.

 Multi - Duty Receptionist
 
 to join their passionate, authentic, and growing team of professionals. *
 
 The ideal candidate must be both professional and friendly and enjoy working with the patients and their families.
 
 
 
 This is a Full-time opportunity.
 
 
 Hours: Monday- Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am-6:00 pm.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned):
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Answers phone calls in a professional manner and assists caller&rsquo;s needs appropriately.
 </li>
 <li>
 Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Checks-in patients, verifies and updates necessary information in the medical records / database, performs all registration functions and collects copays and balances due, as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists patients with ambulatory difficulties, or other needs, as appropriate. Must be customer service oriented.
 </li>
 <li>
 Appointment scheduling, referrals, and pre-certifications, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Files charts and coordinates lab work, as requested.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sorts and delivers mail, medical records, and other correspondence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attendance/Punctuality: Dependable and arrives to work on time. Notifies supervisor at least 2 weeks in advance for time off (excluding emergencies.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Cooperates and helps coworkers if needed and is committed to the success of the team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attends meetings, as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains strictest confidentiality, both internally (with other Summit employees) and externally (with the public).
 </li>
 <li>
 Adheres to the corporate compliance plan and policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation of site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.
