 Job Responsibility:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations
 </li>
 <li>
 Review patient&rsquo;s medical diagnosis, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course
 </li>
 <li>
 Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs daily patient rounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests
 </li>
 <li>
 Interprets laboratory and test results
 </li>
 <li>
 Confers with physicians, nursing staff, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides health education and counseling
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be willing to work independently and be responsible for your own caseload

 Requirements:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school, such as a Master of Science in nursing or Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
 </li>
 <li>
 State license
 </li>
 <li>
 BLS certification
 </li>
 <li>
 National Provider Identifier (NPI)
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have a current license to practice as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the state of practice.
 </li>
 <li>
 2-4 years of clinical work experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be compassionate and personable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other medical staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership skills, self-confidence, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional active listening skills
