 Sun City Express, a premier airport shuttle service provider, is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Dispatch position. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about transportation and customer service, offering a dynamic work environment that requires keen organizational and communication skills. Please note, this is an on-site, non-remote role, requiring the candidate's presence at our main dispatch office. As a Dispatcher, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shuttle services, directly impacting our efficiency and the satisfaction of our passengers.
 
 
 As the primary liaison between our passengers and drivers, the successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of dispatch operations, ensuring timely service and excellent communication. This role demands a high level of responsibility and attention to detail, suitable for a proactive and dedicated professional looking to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
 
 
 Duties and Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of airport shuttle drivers and vehicles, ensuring optimal efficiency and service delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor the real-time location and status of all shuttle vehicles and drivers to manage daily operations effectively.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain open communication with drivers and passengers via radio, phone, and in-person to address any issues that arise during operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Take and manage reservations, coordinating timing and logistics to optimize passenger satisfaction and resource utilization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolve any operational problems that occur, providing support and guidance to drivers to ensure safety and service standards are maintained.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage emergency situations by coordinating with drivers, support staff, and emergency service providers to ensure passenger safety.
 </li>
 <li>
 Update and manage dispatch logs and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently to maintain company reputation.

 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience as a dispatcher or relevant position, preferably in the transportation or customer service sector.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with drivers and passengers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to operate radio, telephone systems, and other communication tools necessary for dispatch and coordination.
 </li>
 <li>
 High proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Detail-oriented with a professional attitude, reliable and committed to maintaining tight schedules and meeting customer needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work effectively under stress and adapt to changing situations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability to work full-time, part-time, and weekends, applying flexibility according to operational needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic technical skills, including familiarity with GPS devices, basic database management, and dispatch software.
 </li>
 <li>
 High school diploma required; higher education or certification in transport, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

 Pay Range is $18-$20 based on Experience
