<li>Planning and managing all aspects of the legal functional responsibilities assigned;</li></ul><br>

<li>Reviewing, interpreting and counselling on relevant local laws, court rulings, policies and practices, business conduct guidelines and ethics</li></ul><br>

<li>Advising business teams on legal, compliance, pharma legal, regulatory and liability matters</li></ul><br>

<ul>
<li>Supporting litigation &amp; dispute resolution management in all forums and ensuring effective representation by outside counsels in a cost-effective manner</li></ul><br>

<ul>
<li> Advising business teams on promotion, marketing laws and applicable industry codes</li></ul><br>
<div></div>
<ul>
<li> Contributing as a member of corporate legal and compliance team on various policies and department initiatives, including projects aimed at streamlining processes, coordinating training and development for legal team members as well as businesses, and developing and sharing best practices</li></ul><br>

<li>Investigating various cases, consulting with and advising stakeholders, filing documents to the court</li></ul><br>

This role is responsible for driving ownership, governance, and continuous improvement of core manufacturing digital systems at Sun Pharma &mdash; primarily SAP (PP, QM, PM modules) ; along with connected platforms such as MES, eLogbook, QMS, LIMS, and other OT/IT systems. The position acts as the business process owner, ensuring harmonized processes across sterile and non-sterile manufacturing sites and enabling ongoing digital transformation initiatives.</div><br>

Key responsibilities:</b></div><br>

1. SAP Ownership &amp; Governance</div>
<ul><li>Serve as the Business Owner for SAP modules related to manufacturing (PP), quality (QM), plant maintenance (PM).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Define and harmonize business processes.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Own SAP change pipeline and ensure compliant implementations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.</li></ul><br>

2. Leadership of Allied Manufacturing Systems</div>
<ul><li>Provide functional oversight and work with stakeholders of MES, eLogbook, QMS, LIMS and related systems.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Align cross-system business rules and master data.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Build integrated digital manufacturing roadmaps.</li></ul><br>

3. Manufacturing Domain Expertise</div>
<ul><li>Strong understanding of sterile and non-sterile manufacturing.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Anchor best practices for batch execution and documentation.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support EBR and digital shopfloor rollouts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiar with various Supply chain management and procurement system getting used in Pharmaceutical Industry.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiarity with Validation and Qualification for Software, Equipment, area, etc.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Well conversed with Project management functions. e.g., Infrastructure, Software implementation, Product development etc.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiar with GXP regulations for Pharmaceutical Drug formulation plants.</li></ul><br>

4. Transformation &amp; Continuous Improvement</div>

<li>Industrial / Production Engineering</li>
<li>Mechanical Engineering (with pharma manufacturing experience)</li>
</ul>
<div><b>Strongly Preferred (But Not Mandatory)</b></div>

Postgraduate qualification such as:</div>

<li>M.Tech / MS (Pharma, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing)</li>
