Under the direction of the Fabrication Services Manager, this position works independently or as a team to develop, design, quote, and engineer custom solutions for the industrial use of fluid handling systems. This position is also responsible for ensuring that all of the pertinent details of the project are captured in order to facilitate efficient and timely manufacturing of the project once ordered.</b></div><br>

<li>Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.</li>
<li>Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.</li>
<li>Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.</li>
<li>Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.</li>
<li>Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.</li>
<li>Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.</li>
<li>Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.</li>
<li>Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.</li>
<li>Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.</li>

<div><ul><li>5 plus years manufacturing experience preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of lathes, milling machines, brakes, presses, and woodshop equipment.</li>
<li>Plastic fabrication and plumbing experience.</li>
<li>Supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>High School Diploma and College Degree or Trade School Certificate.</li>
<li>Sales and technical support experience.</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office.
</li><li>Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks and Mastercam</li>
<li>Design skills, Project Management, manufacturing methods and procedures, process improvement, technical understanding, documentation skills, safety management, CAD/CAM.</li>

Essential Functions</b></p>
<ul><li>Assist customers to resolve equipment issues by phone and email</li><li>Learn to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues</li><li>Coordinate with service technicians</li><li>Assist with electronic board scheduling, work order entry and billing processes. Reviews all work orders scanned for billing for any follow-up requirements (ex. return visit required, parts to be ordered, database maintenance for updates.</li><li>Buy specialized items using standardized procedures and assist with &ldquo;spot&rdquo; buys</li><li>Credit Card reconciliation for service technicians. Coordinates receipts and assigns appropriate accounting codes with the credit card statements</li><li>Maintains customer orders in ERP as necessary for additional requirements on original work order</li><li>Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested</li></ul>
