<div></div><div><div><div>The <b>Route</b><b> Driver</b> is responsible for transporting transformer units and materials to their assigned locations, ensuring timely delivery in a safe and efficient manner. Compliance with all safety requirements, transportation regulations and company policies are essential functions of this role.</div></div><div><br>

</div><div><ul><li>Plan and follow the best routes, taking into account traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely delivery of goods.</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li>Manage an active list of customers and ensure customers are serviced according to the frequency of picks ups established by the commercial team</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li>Conduct regular vehicle inspections to maintain its safe operation, identifying and reporting any mechanical or electrical issues that require attention.</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li>Communicate effectively with team members, dispatchers and clients, updating on delivery statuses and possible delays.</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li>Adhere to safety protocols, such as wearing seat belts and personal protective equipment when required.</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li>Complete delivery logs and other necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.</li></ul>

</div><div><ul><li>Compensation for this role is hourly. Drivers can expect an average of 40-50 hours a week, however this can vary based on business needs.</li></ul>

Welder

<div><p>We are looking for an experienced <b>Welder</b> to join our production team. This position is responsible for the fabrication and welding of various components used in the manufacturing and repair of transformers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with metal fabrication, welding techniques, and can interpret engineering drawings to ensure high-quality and precise builds. The hours for this position are <b>Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.</b></p><br>
<p></p>
<ul><li>
Weld and assemble transformer components including:
<ul><li>Transformer tanks (oil-filled or dry-type)</li><li>
Radiator fins and brackets</li><li>
Lifting lugs, base channels, conservators, and other structural parts</li></ul>
</li><li>Use MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques based on material and project requirements.</li><li>
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.</li><li>
Ensure proper fit-up and alignment of welded parts using jigs, clamps, and measuring tools.</li><li>
Perform grinding, cutting, and surface preparation prior to and after welding.</li><li>
Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.</li><li>
Repair cracks, leaks, or damage on transformer tanks or components as required.</li><li>
Operate hand tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely.</li><li>
Maintain welding equipment and tools provided by the organization
</li><li>Communicate with engineering, quality, and production teams regarding design changes or fabrication issues.</li><li>
Ability to mentor novice welders in the area of welding and fabrication
</li><li>Support continuous improvement efforts in welding and fabrication processes.</li><li>
Following all safety protocols which includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), glove, safety glasses, etc.
</li><li>Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.</li><li>
 Other assigned duties as needed.</li></ul><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent; welding trade school or technical training preferred.</li><li>
3-5 years of welding experience required</li><li>
Air arc gouging, plasma cutting, and stud gun experience required</li><li>
Proven experience in welding oil or liquid filled tanks required</li><li>
Complete and pass pre-employment and annual respiratory fit testing in compliance with OSHA standards</li><li>
Proficient in welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on mild and stainless steel.
</li><li>Ability to read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings and welding symbols.</li><li>
Knowledge of ASME or AWS welding codes is a plus.</li><li>
AWS Certified Welder (or equivalent) preferred</li><li>
 A proven track record in safety excellence is required.</li><li>
Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.
