Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory Compliance<ul><li>Ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws.</li><li>Filing of GST returns-GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9-and TDS returns correctly within due dates.</li><li>Maintain statutory audits and assist in coordination with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.</li></ul>Taxation and Financial Reporting<ul><li>Manage GST computations, input/output reconciliation, and TDS deductions for vendors and employees.</li><li>Prepare and file income tax returns, advance tax computations, and support tax planning strategies.</li><li>Track changes in tax laws and update the internal processes accordingly.</li></ul>Accounting and Bookkeeping<ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting activities: journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and trial balance.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements: P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.</li><li>Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable, bank accounts, and vendor payments.</li></ul>Payroll and Expense Management<ul><li>Oversee payroll processing, ensuring that PF, ESI, TDS, and other statutory salary deductions comply with the law in force.</li><li>Track expenses and manage employee reimbursements; maintain appropriate expense recording.</li></ul>Financial Analysis and Reporting<ul><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to enable the management for decision making.</li><li>Offer actionable advice concerning cost control, budgeting, and management of cash flow.</li><li>Ensure support extending to financial forecasting and long-term strategic financial planning.</li></ul>Key Skills and Qualification<ul><li>Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; CA/CS-Intermediate or qualified will be preferred.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance, preferably in a startup or MSME environment.</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, Strong knowledge of GST laws, TDS provisions, Income Tax Act, and other Indian regulatory frameworks.
