Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement activities of both a healthcare industry as well as Solar Company. This role requires efficient sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management to ensure timely supply of medical, pharmaceutical, and solar energy-related equipment. The manager will collaborate with various departments to identify needs and develop strategies for cost-effective purchasing while ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Procurement Planning:</li><li>Develop and implement purchasing strategies for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, hospital equipment, and solar-related materials.</li><li>Collaborate with department heads to understand material requirements and forecast demand.</li><li>Vendor Management:</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers for both hospital and solar operations.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure the best value while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards for medical and solar products.</li><li>Inventory Management:</li><li>Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels of medical supplies, equipment, and solar components.</li><li>Establish reorder levels and minimize lead times to prevent shortages or overstocking.</li><li>Cost Control:</li><li>Track and analyze purchasing budgets to control costs and optimize expenditures.</li><li>Continuously evaluate market trends to make informed purchasing decisions and ensure cost-efficiency.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Documentation:</li><li>Ensure compliance with hospital and solar industry standards, including medical regulations, environmental guidelines, and sustainable purchasing practices.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and transactions for audits and financial reporting.</li><li>Risk Management:</li><li>Identify risks related to supply chain disruptions, market fluctuations, or vendor reliability and develop mitigation plans.</li><li>Collaboration &amp; Communication:</li><li>Coordinate with finance, legal, and operations teams to align purchasing activities with overall business goals.</li><li>Report to senior management on purchasing performance, cost savings, and vendor assessments.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the healthcare or solar energy sectors.</li><li>Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.</li><li>Knowledge of industry regulations, both in the medical and solar energy sectors.</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.</li><li>Familiarity with sustainable and ethical purchasing practices.</li></ul>Work Environment:This role involves working in both the hospital environment and the solar energy sector, requiring an understanding of diverse procurement needs.
