Sunday River is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Purchasing Agent to join our team. This role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and working with department inventory managers to forecast needs for a wide variety of goods and services that keep our resort running smoothly&mdash;from equipment and supplies to operational necessities. The Purchasing Agent ensures that our departments have what they need, when they need it, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and keeping costs aligned with budget goals. This full-time year-round position reports to the Resort General Manager.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and quality.</li><li>
Process purchase orders, contracts, and requisitions in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with department managers to forecast needs.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and budget guidelines, maintaining Boyne brand standards where applicable.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.</li><li>
Resolve issues related to deliveries, invoices, or product quality.</li><li>
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.</li><li>
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (hospitality or resort industry preferred).</li><li>
Strong negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing/inventory management systems.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.</li></ul><p><b>

Wages range from $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with room for professional growth and advancement</li><li>
