Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. Our office is open Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm, this position is for 4 days a week, day off rotates between Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sunnyside is a fun and great atmosphere to work in, we all get a long and have wonderful patients to care for.The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service both on the phone and in person. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and proficiency in dental office software.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience upon arrival.</li><li>Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.</li><li>Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical records and patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.</li><li>Process patient information using open dental software system</li><li>Assist with coding for insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage.</li><li>Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth operation of the office.</li><li>Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner.</li><li>Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous Dental experience is required.</li><li>Knowledge with Dental Insurance.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care.</li><li>Proficiency in dental software applications</li><li>Knowledge of medical records management and coding practices is beneficial.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team.</li></ul>If you are passionate about providing excellent patient service and have the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Dental Receptionist.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
