Sunreef Yachts is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Composite Engineer to join its engineering team at the Ras Al Khaimah facility.
This role focuses on the design, development, and production support of composite structures for luxury yachts. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure structural integrity, manufacturability, and high-quality execution of composite components.
This position is suited for candidates with strong hands-on experience in composite design and manufacturing, ideally within the marine industry or similarly demanding sectors.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Develop detailed 3D models of composite structures and components
</li><li>Design plugs, molds, and tooling systems for production
</li><li>Prepare accurate 2D workshop drawings and technical documentation
</li><li>Define and optimize lamination schedules for composite parts
</li><li>Support production teams with technical guidance during manufacturing and assembly

Senior Composite Engineer (Luxury Yachting Industry)

Sunreef Yachts is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Material Planning Engineer to support the planning and coordination of materials across multiple yacht construction projects.
Working closely with the Systems and Mechanical Engineering teams, you will ensure that all materials are accurately defined, sourced, and delivered in line with project timelines and production requirements. This role is key to maintaining alignment between engineering, procurement, and production, ensuring smooth execution across the build process.
This position is ideal for candidates with 1&ndash;2 years of experience, preferably within the marine or complex engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Plan and manage material requirements based on project schedules and engineering deliverables
</li><li>Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to suppliers
</li><li>Analyze and compare supplier quotations in coordination with engineering and procurement teams
</li><li>Raise and submit Purchase Requests (PRs) in alignment with project needs
</li><li>Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery and identify potential delays
</li><li>Maintain structured documentation of BOMs, RFQs, POs, and supplier communications

</li><li>Support the resolution of supply chain issues, delays, and discrepancies

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering
</li><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain

</li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data handling, tracking, basic analysis)
