JOB PURPOSE &amp; DUTIES 
Serve as a personal clerical assistant to ENT Providers based in Fayetteville and McDonough, GA focusing primarily on documentation of patient charts.<ul><li>
Accompany physician into patient rooms to thoroughly document patients' electronic medical records</li><li>
Track and document laboratory and radiology studies</li><li>
Research past medical records, record medications given, responses to therapy, and physician consultations</li><li>
Other clerical duties as required</li></ul>
Requirements:

At least 18 years of age</li><li>
Commit to 9+ months of availability to work at least 2-3 shifts weekly</li><li>
Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Fayetteville and McDonough, GA</li><li>
Interested in pursuing a career in healthcare</li><li>
Experience with computers and typing</li><li>
Sharp, motivated, and reliable</li><li>
Some knowledge of medical terminology</li><li>
Ability to stand for long periods of time</li><li>
Ability to type at 50+ words per minute</li></ul>
o Please note: This position is in an office setting and will require that you have full days availability- (2-3 days/week Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm)
Job Types: Part-Time, Variable-Hour, Contract
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour</div>

Requirements for all openings can be found below. As a scribe, you will be assigned to one physician per shift. Requirements for All Openings<ul><li>At least 18 years of age</li><li>Experience with computers and typing &ndash; must be able to type 50+ words per minute</li><li>Sharp, motivated, and reliable</li><li>Ability to work at least two eight/nine/ten hour shifts a week</li><li>Some knowledge of medical terminology preferred</li><li>Healthcare experience is not required but is preferred</li><li>-Medical, PA, Nursing, and EMT students</li><li>-Medical Coding and Billing experience</li><li>-Transcription experience</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time</li></ul>
Please note: Emergency Departments are open 24/7, 365 days a year. Nights, weekends, and holidays all need coverage and will be required from Scribes. Please do not apply if you will be unwilling to work some holidays throughout the year.</div>
