Superior Center for ADHD &amp; Executive Functioning Contract Position (1099)We are seeking a high-impact, detail-driven Special Education Advocate to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a BSW or MSW-level professional who deeply understands child development, ADHD/executive functioning challenges, school systems, and family support&mdash;and isn&rsquo;t afraid to speak up, push back, and fight for what&rsquo;s right.We are looking for someone who is persistent, assertive, and unshakeable when advocating for children and families. If you&rsquo;re the type of professional who does not back down from hard conversations, holds school districts accountable, and thrives in meetings where advocacy truly matters, this position is for you.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Attend and advocate during IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings on behalf of families.</li><li>Review school evaluations, progress reports, and behavioral data to ensure services match student needs.</li><li>Provide families with clear guidance on their rights and help them understand the special education process.</li><li>Collaborate with therapists, educators, and clinical staff to align recommendations across home, school, and treatment.</li><li>Draft written advocacy letters, requests, and documentation to support service changes or evaluations.</li><li>Support parents in preparing for school meetings and navigating communication with administrators and teachers.</li><li>Maintain accurate notes, documentation, and communication outlines for each case.</li><li>Uphold strong ethical standards and operate independently under a 1099 contractor agreement.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>BSW or MSW required (licensed or limited license preferred but not required).</li><li>Strong knowledge of IEP/504 laws, IDEA, FAPE, and behavioral/accommodation planning.</li><li>Someone who is confident, assertive, and not intimidated by confrontation.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to translate clinical or functional needs into actionable school-based supports.</li><li>Comfortable working with families of children with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, and executive-function challenges.</li><li>Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage a flexible caseload.</li><li>The &ldquo;bulldog&rdquo; advocate mindset&mdash;persistent, unwavering, and ready to challenge school systems when needed.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Structure<ul><li>This is an independent contractor (1099) position.</li><li>Flexible scheduling based on meetings and family needs.</li><li>60% of services billed and received through practice.</li><li>Remote and in-person meeting opportunities depending on district and client needs.</li></ul>Ideal CandidateSomeone who believes that every child deserves an equal chance to succeed&mdash;and is willing to go to bat for families, even when the system resists.
