Van Becelaere Machine Works, Inc. is looking for a motivated individual to fulfill the Quality Inspector position with our company.Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with Overtime opportunities on Fridays. Hourly employees are eligible to earn a bi-weekly attendance bonus upon meeting the criteria.Position Overview:The Quality Control Technician will ensure that products are designed, built, and produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements.Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&middot; Assist in ensuring the organization&rsquo;s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, and ISO 9001 requirements.&middot; Assist with documentation of manufacturing processes and control plans.&middot; Assist with managing inspection gages, (qualify, calibration, maintain, assemble for jobs, etc.)&middot; Provide inspection services, (incoming material, in process, subcontracted and final).&middot; Assist in providing CNC Machinist training on proper use of inspection equipment.Skills:&middot; Safety first mindset&middot; Must have strong organizational and documentation skills.&middot; Must be action and result oriented.&middot; Must be an effective communicator.&middot; Have equal sense of urgency when acting on difficult and easy decisions.&middot; Shows a consistent positive attitude.&middot; The ability to read and write English.Qualifications/Education:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to complete each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&middot; GED or High school diploma&middot; Minimum of 2 years experience with inspection of CNC machine components&middot; Strong knowledge of blue prints including GD&amp;T.&middot; CMM experience preferred but not required.Proficient in the use of all measuring instruments, including but not limited to:<ul><li>CMM</li><li>Profilometer</li><li>Micrometers</li><li>Calipers</li><li>Depth Micrometers</li><li>Height Gages</li><li>Dial Bore Gages</li></ul>Basic Expectations: Attention to detail; Mature, professional interaction with team members, guests, and business contacts; Ability to work safely under pressure; Ability to prioritize work; Ability to keep confidences and keep work confidential; Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.Notes:This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the team member occupying this position.
