Job Summary:

The Senior Medical Science Liaison is a Medical Affairs professional that is dedicated to bridging the gap between Supernus and the medical community. This role functions as a scientific expert, educating healthcare professionals (HCPs), building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and collecting real-world insights on Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Depressive Disorders, other neuropsychiatric conditions, and treatment.

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Establish and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with regional/national KOLs, HCPs, academic centers, and health care systems.</li>
<li>Function as the subject matter expert on clinical and medical information for relevant neuroscience specialty areas.</li>
<li>Provides scientifically accurate, compliant responses to unsolicited requests for medical information.</li>
<li>Provide compliant educational programs and presentations to HCPs and healthcare systems.</li>
<li>Identify, develop, and execute regional territory plans for compliant medical personnel engagement aligned with Medical Affairs (MA) strategies.</li>
<li>Assist the Medical Affairs Department and the Medical Team in field-based medical operations.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Commercial Sales and Marketing, Corporate Accounts, Medical Affairs, R &amp; D, Regulatory, and Legal.</li>
<li>Contribute to the Medical Affairs strategic and tactical development plans.</li>
<li>Liaise with business partners as needed.</li>
<li>Participates in strategic initiatives and leads Medical Affairs projects.</li>
<li>Other responsibilities and projects assigned.</li>

Knowledge &amp; Other Qualifications:
<ul><li>MD, PharmD, PhD or Doctor of Nursing, or other neuroscience degree with a minimum of three years of experience in Medical Affairs required.</li>
<li>Five years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.</li>
<li>Previous clinical or research experience in psychiatry, neurology, or neuroscience is preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience with product launches, clinical development, or Pharmacoeconomics is a plus.</li>
</ul>

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:
<ul><li>Travel Required: up to 50-75% Travel.</li>
<li>This remote position requires routine access to an adequately private work location to allow for compliant discussion of confidential information.</li>
<li>This role primarily involves sedentary work and may require exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects.</li>
<li>This role requires adequate close visual acuity to perform activities such as extensive reading; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device for extended periods of time; and adequate distance visual acuity to view presentations in large conference rooms.</li>
<li>This role is not expected to involve substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.</li>
</ul>
Compensation:

At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $170,000 to $194,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual&rsquo;s salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs.

The total compensation package for this position also includes other compensation elements such as stock equity awards, employee stock purchase programs and participation in our Company&rsquo;s discretionary annual bonus program.
