 About The Role
 
 
 
 You'll bring Superpower to life through movement. This role sits at the intersection of brand, product, and growth &mdash; creating motion that makes our product feel alive, our ads impossible to scroll past, and our brand unmistakably Superpower. From micro-interactions in the product to full campaign films, you'll define how Superpower moves.

 What You'll Do
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Create motion design across brand, product, and growth: social content, ad creative, product animations, launch videos, and more
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain a motion language for Superpower &mdash; timing, easing, transitions, and principles that scale
 </li>
 <li>
 Produce short-form video content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels
 </li>
 <li>
 Design UI animations and micro-interactions that elevate the product experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with brand designers, product designers, and engineers to integrate motion into every surface
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with growth to create high-performing video ad creative &mdash; fast iteration, clear storytelling
 </li>
 <li>
 Experiment with AI-assisted motion tools, generative video, and emerging formats
 </li>
 <li>
 Edit and composite video &mdash; you're comfortable being both the creative director and the executor
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 What You Bring
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3&ndash;6+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or video &mdash; at a studio, agency, brand, or in-house team
 </li>
 <li>
 A reel that shows range: brand films, social content, UI animation, typographic motion, or experimental work
 </li>
 <li>
 Mastery of After Effects. Strong working knowledge of Premiere, Cinema 4D, or Blender
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of animation principles &mdash; timing, weight, easing &mdash; and how they serve storytelling
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work fast without sacrificing craft. We move at startup speed
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfort working across brand and product contexts &mdash; you can shift from a 60s hero film to a 3s loading animation
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborative, low-ego approach. You give and receive feedback directly
 </li>
 <li>
 A genuine interest in health, science, or human performance
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Nice to Have
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3D animation or rendering skills (Cinema 4D, Blender, Houdini)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Lottie, Rive, or code-based animation for product
 </li>
 <li>
 Sound design sensibility
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience creating performance ad creative (Meta, TikTok)
 </li>
 <li>
 Illustration or generative art background

 </ul>
 The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $170,000 (non-inclusive of equity).
 
 
 Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
