<div>POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE: 
The R&amp;D Technician performs the following types of duties: collection, creation, and distribution of product and raw material documentation. Support R&amp;D Formulation Scientists in creation of customized formulations, product innovation, and product optimization projects. Supports scale up and commercialization of product. Close partnership with Operations, QA/QC, raw material vendors, and other cross-functional disciplines to accomplish company and personal goals. 
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:<ul><li>
Produce product samples according to formulas</li><li>
Collect and submit documentation to Scientists for review</li><li>
Maintain raw material database for material in use and potential materials to be used</li><li>
Finished product label creation and review</li><li>
Supports Product Development Scientist in creation of new formulas through bench top development of product formulation</li><li>
Bench top testing of development formulas</li><li>
Creates product documentation for raw materials and formulas with R&amp;D tools</li></ul>

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science or related degree or experience in related field.</li></ul>

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form</li><li>

R&D Technician

<div>POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE: 
This scientist will be responsible for developing formulas (liquid, powder, capsule), flavor work, and validating methods to support manufacturing and new products; instrumentation or equipment set up, troubleshooting, maintenance, and blend validation, and training other formulators in the lab.
 
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:<ul><li>
Create new formulas for customers and formulate great tasting products</li><li>
Performs technical support for new product, to ensure product is ready for production run</li><li>
Creates the Batch Records for production runs.</li><li>
Troubleshoots any issues related to the materials of the product run</li><li>
Finds solutions to help machines run better for the product run</li><li>
Approves all changes to Batch Records</li><li>
Gather and compile supplier documentation.</li></ul>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
Undergraduate degree in Food Science with 3-5 years experience in related field.</li><li>
Related manufacturing experience (5 years) primarily in formulation and flavor work.
<ul><li>We work with many pre-workout/energy brands, so experience working with caffeine is a plus.</li></ul></li></ul>
