Job Title: Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst Location: Thane Department: Finance / Investment / Strategy Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 1-3 Years Reports To: Finance Manager / CFOJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and analyzing financial models to support decision-making processes, business planning, investments, and valuations. This role requires a deep understanding of finance, accounting, and valuation techniques.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and maintain complex financial models for business forecasting, valuation, budgeting, and strategic planning.</li><li>Perform company and industry research to support financial analysis and valuation.</li><li>Conduct DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.</li><li>Analyze financial statements and identify key trends and risks.</li><li>Prepare valuation reports and presentations for internal stakeholders or clients.</li><li>Collaborate with business units to gather inputs and ensure model accuracy.</li><li>Assist in mergers &amp; acquisitions (M&amp;A), fundraising, or investment analysis as needed.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate performance against forecasts and provide insights to management.</li></ul>Requirements.<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (MBA/CFA is a plus).</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in financial modelling, investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, or similar.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Solid understanding of valuation methodologies such as DCF, comparables, and transaction comps.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.</li><li>Certification Research Analyst or Merchant Banking Required.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Certification in Financial Modelling &amp; Valuation is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and investment analysis.</li></ul>Salary: Compensation will be aligned with the previous salary.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;30,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
