The Bookkeeper/Accountant is responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy, cash flow management, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.

Salary Range: $105,000 - $126,000 annual<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Accounts Receivable Management</h3><ul><li>
Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.</li><li>
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.</li><li>
Process customer payments, credit memos, and account adjustments.</li><li>
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.</li><li>
Maintain detailed records of collection activities and payment histories.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Bookkeeping &amp; Financial Administration</h3><ul><li>
Prepare and enter financial transactions into QuickBooks.</li><li>
Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.</li><li>
Process journal entries and account adjustments as necessary.</li><li>
Assist with accounts payable activities when required.</li><li>
Maintain organized financial records in accordance with company policies.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Reconciliations &amp; Financial Reporting</h3><ul><li>
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.</li><li>
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.</li><li>
Prepare recurring financial reports and supporting schedules.</li><li>
Assist with cash flow reporting and financial analysis.</li><li>
Support management with ad hoc reporting requests.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Month-End Close &amp; Compliance</h3><ul><li>
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.</li><li>
Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.</li><li>
Support internal and external audits as required.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and tax documentation.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Process Improvement</h3><ul><li>
Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and efficiencies.</li><li>
Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls.</li><li>

What Is Required</h2><ul><li>
Must be eligible for employment within the United States.</li><li>
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. (Surefox will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all requirements of State and local laws, regulations or codes)</li><li>
Minimum of 10&ndash;15 years of progressive bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or accounting experience.</li><li>
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks.</li><li>
Extensive experience preparing and posting accounting transactions.</li><li>
Strong experience performing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.</li><li>
Experience processing payroll and payroll-related reporting.</li><li>
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</li><li>
Experience supporting month-end and year-end close activities.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements.</li><li>
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.</li><li>
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>

What Is Desired</h2><ul><li>
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>

Bookkeeper / Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Security Agent with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team here in Texas. You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Team Leader and Program Managers for our top Texas clients.
 
 
In your day to day role as a Armed Flex Executive Protection/Residential Security Agent, you will be acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing physical security of assigned clients at their residence. You will perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures, and all state &amp; federal regulations. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to responding to emergency events, medical &amp; non-medical issues, incident detection, observation, physical security, overwatch and reconnaissance to assigned clients, staffing deficiencies, and handling client requests in a timely manner. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail, someone who works independently on assignments and has the ability to liaise and coordinate with supporting or adjacent teams, agencies, or vendors to ensure clients&rsquo; security requirements are met in a timely and professional manner. The individual selected must be flexible and able to respond to dynamic situations with sound judgment, as well as have the ability to perform their duties on a national and international level.

What you will do:<ul><li>
Active Texas Security Guard Card</li><li>
Develop relationships with clients, facilitate collaboration, and have the ability to influence informally across different departments within the team</li><li>
Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements within the provided guidelines</li><li>
Manage/monitor surveillance equipment and access points</li><li>
Maintain a log of all activity occurring at the residence</li><li>
Screen all incoming mail</li><li>
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/ or by vehicle while monitoring access</li><li>
Remain vigilant and watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site</li><li>
Contact the police or fire department if and when there is an emergency</li><li>
Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits</li><li>
Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property</li><li>
Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities</li><li>
Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner</li><li>
Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes</li><li>

What is required: 
Must be eligible for employment within the United States 
Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines 
Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening 
Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate 
Must have a current guard licensure by the State in which such services are to be performed or eligible to qualify for such licensure 
Must have a high school degree or equivalent 
Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies 
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds 
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions 
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

All applicants must be able to pass the Surefox Executive and Residential Physical Agility Test (ERPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.

CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages is required

3+ years of previous residential security experience (or the equivalent certifications): 
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) or Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) 
Residential Security Operations Certification (RSOC) 
Prior attendance of a recognized EP training program which include but are not limited to: 
ESI 
EPI 
Oatman 
PFC 
ITG4

Military background is a plus
