Job Overview:
SurePoint Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive the successful completion of complex, cross-team initiatives through agile program leadership, transparent reporting, risk and dependency management, and hands-on coaching to improve how teams plan, collaborate, and deliver. This role blends technical fluency, business acumen, stakeholder leadership, and pragmatic agile project management to accelerate value creation, product/service quality, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Program &amp; Delivery Leadership: Own program-level planning and coordinate cross-team execution without undermining team autonomy. Remove impediments and address organizational dysfunctions that hinder delivery.</li><li>
Stakeholder &amp; Communication Management: Serve as primary point of contact for assigned efforts. Provide clear, consistent status reporting, lead stakeholder conversations on tradeoffs, and ensure decisions are recorded and communicated.</li><li>
Risk &amp; Dependency Management: Proactively manage/mitigate/eliminate risks and cross-team dependencies. Support compliance and governance needs by advising teams and enabling lightweight, effective practices.</li><li>
Agile Coaching &amp; Capability Building: Coach Product Owners, Engineering Managers/Leaders, and teams on effective agile planning, refinement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li><li>
Process Optimization &amp; Enablement: Define, implement, and fine-tune processes, runbooks, and templates to enable self-service capabilities and drive repeatable, efficient execution.</li><li>
Portfolio Flow &amp; Capacity: Assist leaders in managing the inflow of work. Improve flow metrics and predictability across the program.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
5+ years of program/project management experience in software/technology environments, including cross-team delivery</li><li>
Strong understanding of software delivery fundamentals (SDLC, CI/CD concepts, environments, release coordination, incident/risk basics)</li><li>
Proven ability to produce executive-ready status reporting, convey business context, and facilitate decision making across stakeholders</li><li>
Demonstrated experience applying agile project management practices in real-world situations</li><li>
Experience coaching or mentoring teams to improve planning, execution, and continuous improvement</li><li>
Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and working sessions</li><li>
Strong written communication and documentation habits</li></ul>
Additional Qualifications that are nice to have:<ul><li>
Ability to work on-site 2-3 days out of the week</li><li>
Experience with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) administration</li><li>
Experience building training programs, onboarding materials, or internal coaching communities</li><li>
Experience with multi-team scaling patterns</li><li>
One or more relevant certifications from Project Management Institute (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP), Scrum Alliance (e.g., A-CSM, CSPO, CSP-SM), or similar</li></ul>

Delivery outcomes: Program goals met with clear definition of done and measurable value delivered, within expected constraints.</li><li>
Predictability &amp; transparency: Stakeholders consistently understand status, risks, and likely outcomes; fewer surprises.</li><li>
Risk management effectiveness: Risks identified early, tracked visibly, and mitigated before becoming incidents.</li><li>
Flow &amp; focus: Reduced work-in-progress and better alignment to capacity; fewer stalled initiatives due to unmanaged dependencies.</li><li>
Team enablement: Teams report fewer impediments, clearer decision pathways, and improved ability to self-organize.</li><li>
Continuous improvement: Observable improvement in collaboration, refinement readiness, quality practices, and &quot;team ownership&quot; behaviors over time.</li><li>
Stakeholder satisfaction: Strong partnership ratings from Product, Engineering, Security/Compliance, and leadership.</li></ul>
