Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
As the Collections Representative, you will contribute to the company&rsquo;s mission, vision, and values by completing follow-up and collections for patient services. Under the supervision of the Business Office Manager/Business Office Supervisor, you will obtain payment from third party payers and self-pay accounts to enhance cash flow and gather reimbursement based on established contracts.
What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
You will perform follow up activities on accounts to ensure prompt payment</li><li>
You will identify coding or billing errors from EOBs and work to correct them</li><li>
You will monitor insurance claims and contact insurance companies to resolve claims
</li><li>You will update the patient account record to identify actions taken</li><li>
You will assign bad debt to the collection agency
</li><li>You will act as a liaison accounts and administer contracts in collection of third party accounts (Medicare and Medicaid)</li><li>
You will complete account reconciliation of accounts turned over to outside agencies</li><li>
You will negotiate payment plans on self-pay accounts
</li><li>You are responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and creating a reduction in bad debt
</li></ul>Qualifications you will need:<ul><li>
Minimum (1) year of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred. (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office) preferred</li><li>
Knowledge of managed care payers and medical terminology is preferred</li></ul>

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5> 
As the Business Office Supervisor, you will contribute to the company&rsquo;s mission, vision, and values by coordinating daily operations for the front office. This includes overseeing functions of scheduling, chart preparation, patient registration, and collecting patient deposits. 
 
What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
Coordinates employee schedules daily to ensure that assigned areas are staffed.</li><li>
Coordinates work distribution to other billing and payment posting team members. Ensures timely turn around by monitoring turnaround times, productivity measures, and quality standards and reports them to CBO Leadership team.</li><li>
Resolve/clarify Billing and Payment Posting issues across the West Florida ASD Surgery Centers.</li><li>
 Serves as central point of contact for the division accountants to resolve issues relating to bank reconciliation &amp; cash related issues.</li><li>
Assists central business office management with any special projects.</li><li>
 Coordinates &amp; conducts training programs for assigned billing and posting members of the CBO</li><li>
 Proactively develop and maintain reports as needed to ensure that all levels of leadership are informed of potential issues.
 </li><li>Ensures cash is balanced daily. Maintains reports and advises leadership of discrepancies.</li><li>
Coordinates initiation of refunds of identified overpayments.</li><li>
Ensures refunds are entered in the AdvantX system in a timely manner.</li><li>
Coordinated weekly allocation of deposits to ensure accurate reporting of credit balances.</li><li>
Maintains a credit balance of &lt; 1.0 days in credit balances for each assigned centers.</li><li>
Follows-up to ensure timely resolution for cash balance error and bank reconciliation.</li><li>
 Reviews the insurance contract profiles in AdvantX to ensure the system is making appropriate adjustments based on the procedure and type of reimbursement.</li><li>
Works with electronic billing vendor to resolve any e-billing issues, denied claims, etc.</li><li>
 Generates and processes all insurance claims.</li><li>
Researches required information and maintains pending follow up on a daily/weekly basis.</li><li>
Prints appropriate billing forms and forwards them to the insurance carrier.</li></ul> 
Qualifications for this role: 
<ul><li>
Minimum (2) years of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred. (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office)
</li><li>Lead or supervisory experience preferred</li><li>
BLS may be required as per facility standard</li></ul>
