POSITION SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for selling products for manufacturers/distributors to business and industrial establishments or individuals at factories, plants, or other locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul><li>Develop goals and strategies to maintain and increase revenue within assigned accounts and/or sales territory
</li><li>Helps coordinate customer activity and facilitate communication between the customers, the SSC and Swagelok factory.
</li><li>Provides project management support for customer projects often leading a cross-functional team.
</li><li>Shares successes and best sales practices with all sales associates
</li><li>Develops and maintains product knowledge and professional sales techniques
</li><li>Reports on potential product application developments within the territory
</li><li>Participates in seminars and activities including those at Swagelok corporate and other locations
</li><li>Develops and maintains industry knowledge of assigned customers and associated industries
</li><li>Participates in market teams
</li><li>Supports the organization in gathering market research
</li><li>Submits timely and complete reports when required
</li><li>Develops and follows an approved and supervised professional development plan
</li><li>Updates CRM and other sales related systems to reflect customer and market activity.
</li><li>Maintain badging requirements for assigned customers.
</li><li>Proactively seeking opportunities and pursuing growth demonstrating an effective curiosity and &ldquo;tell me more&rdquo; conversations.
</li><li>Provide training to customers
</li><li>Maintain certification and training requirements.
</li><li>Perform an annual visual acuity assessment to determine certification status</li>

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university of related experience
</li></ul>Experience
<ul><li>3-5 years proven record of sales success in solution-based, consultative-selling environments.
</li><li>Background in fluid system components or relevant industry preferred
</li><li>10-15 years working in the Aerospace industry</li>
</ul>
