<div>Role and Responsibilities
The Fabricators responsibilities include, but may not be limited to,<ul><li>Understand the safety features of the machines and tooling to ensure they are operating without compromise to safety systems.</li><li>Follows safety protocol, including wearing heat resistant gloves, flame resistant (FR) clothing, protective masks, and safety toed footwear.</li><li>Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.</li><li>Ability to fabricate and construct metal and steel components</li><li>Assesses equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods.</li><li>Ability to specialize in manufacturing and assembling equipment or devices, ensuring every products quality and efficiency.</li><li>Maintain welding fixtures and tooling in a suitable working order</li><li>Read, understand, and follow work instructions and engineering blueprints</li><li>Visually inspect weld quality and use other quality inspection equipment to confirm compliance to part specifications.</li><li>Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and work area</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Qualifications and Education Requirements<ul><li>Willingness to test and pass welder qualification test</li><li>Thorough understanding of tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance and repair</li><li>Previous fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints</li><li>Knowledge based and working background in MIG welding of carbon and stainless steel products</li><li>Must be able to complete a manual welding test. Welds are judged on functionality and esthetics.</li><li>Advance knowledge of measuring devices such as, calipers, scales, gauges and micrometers</li><li>Must be able to perform accurate mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide)</li><li>Ability to work with fractions and decimals</li><li>A work history of compliance to safety, quality, and productivity standards</li><li>A work history that supports a good to excellent attendance record</li><li>Strong mechanical abilities</li><li>Fast learner and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Detail oriented approach to daily work activities</li><li>Able to work well in a team-oriented work environment</li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to learn</li></ul>
Preferred Skills<ul><li>At least 2 years fabrication experience</li><li>Ability to read, interpret and understand Work Orders.</li></ul> 
Physical requirements<ul><li>Walking, Standing, Sitting Kneeling, Stooping (Frequently)</li><li>Lifting, Carrying up to 50 pounds (Occasionally)</li><li>Temperatures (Occasionally)</li></ul> 
Additional Notes<ul><li>May require overtime with little notice before or after normal work hours or weekends.</li></ul></div>
