We are expanding quickly, and we are now building an in-house design department from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CAD professional to help shape the future of our product line.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and innovative CAD Designer who is confident in both 2D drafting and 3D modeling. Since this is a brand-new department, we need someone who is a self-starter, thrives on creating systems and structure, and can take initiative without needing constant direction.You will be responsible for developing all of our CAD drawings and models from scratch&mdash;everything from product renderings to detailed manufacturing drawings for production.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Build Sweat Kingdom&rsquo;s CAD drawing library from the ground up.</li><li>Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D designs for saunas, components, and custom builds.</li><li>Work directly with leadership and production teams to establish design standards and workflows.</li><li>Innovate new design concepts that improve product quality, efficiency, and scalability.</li><li>Translate rough sketches, ideas, or existing products into precise digital drawings.</li><li>Revise and update drawings as products evolve or customer needs change.</li><li>Maintain well-organized digital files and documentation.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3&ndash;5+ years of CAD experience in product design, construction, manufacturing, or related fields.</li><li>Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and creative design skills.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Understanding of materials, fabrication, assemblies, and building processes (woodworking experience is a plus).</li><li>Strong communication and ability to collaborate with production and leadership.</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Experience with modular building, tiny homes, prefabricated structures, or architectural product design.</li><li>Rendering/visualization experience for marketing or customer presentations.</li><li>Background in architectural drafting or construction detailing.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>On-site position for the first 3&ndash;6 months to learn the products, production workflow, and team structure.</li><li>Remote work option available after successful onboarding and performance review.</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience.</li><li>Opportunities to grow as the design department expands.</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit your resume, portfolio or examples of past CAD work, and a short description of why you&rsquo;d be a great fit for building our design department.Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hourExpected hours: 30.0 &ndash; 40.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
